*** Writer’s POV: The youngsters gathered around their camp fire with marshmallows, mini hotdogs and chips. “So, who starts?” Matt mused. “Scary stories?” Saïda asked. “Heck no. What are we? Kids?” Matt laughed. “Freaky stories, Darling,” Brittany mused. “Right. The dirtiest and freakiest ones we’ve experienced individually and are ready to share with everyone,” Allison added with a laugh.

Making everyone scream in hysterics instantly. The music suddenly stopped. Replaced with uncontrollable chaos and screaming. Jack stopped his guitar playing. He came to the front of the stage and smiled horribly. Jack took out a knife from the pocket he had prepared earlier. He slit his own throat until blood gushed from his neck with an expressionless face.

I take a deep breath as I feel the sand under my feet. I couldn't help but think of what this meant, he didn't want to be friends, and I didn't want to be together…so where did that leave us? Then this crazy, crazy explanation for this meltdown he had right after I told him I hated him. Well, whatever that was… I'd have to ask my uncle about those Haida stories about people shifting into creatures…but then again they are just ‘made up’ stories— I just couldn't shake those horrific sounds, Kol in pain and him telling me to shoot to kill him. It all didn't make any sense.

They ate the food in silence. After eating, they moved to the living room debating on which movie to watch. "Let's watch Lion King" nafisa suggested . "And why? "Khadija questioned. "Do I look like a baby to you "she added. Nafisa dropped the topic of watching cartoons before her cousin would take it far, they decided on watching The Meg which nafisa found weird . She doesn't like action or romantic movies, she would rather watch cartoon for the rest of her life. The movie was scary to fawaz, he wasn't familiar with such big fishes.

“Don’t be afraid.” I forced myself not to laugh and whispered a reminder to him. “That ghost story… was the one I just told.” Kane froze. There is just something about the dark that is so scary. I might be a werewolf but those ghost stories do scare the hell out of me. I kept imagining seeing things as we walked through the forest. A tree that looked like a giant person, a short person with a big head and no eyes. ‘Ahhhhh, what in the world is wrong with you? You are supposed to be the strongest, bravest she-wolf but here you are being afraid of ghosts,' my wolf said and I chuckled. I did that to wake her up, she had been too quiet for my liking.

Just remember, if you don’t want things to go bump in the night, don’t tell anyone else about them. Even now the shadows in my room play havoc with my subconscious, so I turn the light on and sleep with one eye open. Also, when my computer starts to go on the fritz just as I write a particularly spooky part of a story, I chuck it up to chance and swallow a little harder before checking to make sure that I have only one shadow. It’s amazing that I still get so scared as an adult. You sure would have thought that for someone who makes a living scaring people, I would know better, right?

The rays culminate consequently, converting into a tall and big cosmic structure, like a giant in long white clothes similar to the garments worn by priest or a father in a church. "Stop worrying child." The voice spoke aloud in a resound." Kyara looked up at his magnificent size in a sudden alarm and terror. The moon chuckles. "Don't get frightened. I am a superpower and harmless to you. He ran his looks adorably on her.

The world, as I know it, will never be the same after his explanation. The scariest part is that it is all true. As a child, I have been told stories about the supernatural. We would gather around a camp fire, and a teacher would tell us scary stories with monsters as main villains. Now, here I am, fast-forward to a couple of years later, I’m sitting alone with the man who created all my nightmares.
