Already regretting bringing up my crazy dreams, I made it short and sweet. "Oh, I don't know. I'm in this smoky forest and this wolf howls and runs up to me and, you know, chomps me. That's when I wake up. Silly, huh?" I'd left out the screaming and waking up Dad part. "That is 'supa-freaky!' It's a sign for sure. Seriously, something out there is trying to talk to you. New you, new grade. You feel overwhelmed. And maybe you, like, physically manifested your fears into a large dog running across the road. Whoa! You have some kind of psychic power, girl! That's awesome!"

The last one we went to was the Enchanted Kingdom where we rode their high rides, especially the Extreme Tower. Not only did I feel bad, but I also felt like my soul was lost because of the height of the fall. I reached home at eleven o'clock at night. "Why only now?" Daddy asked me. I caught him in the living room alone reading a magazine. I stopped to glare at him, then stepped on my feet to pass him.

"Oh, right. Have you shown your mom what Melissa looks like?" I asked. I pulled up a photo of Melissa on my phone and showed it to Emma. "Do you think she looks familiar?" When she saw Melissa's photo, she immediately felt her anger turn into terror. She gripped my phone tightly, unwilling to let it go. "Revenge! It's revenge!" she shrieked. Emma became mad and delirious from that day on, only muttering, "Revenge."
