Elara cried as the roof above them began to peel away, torn off by the vacuum of the descending host. "You don't have to be an Arbiter," Vane said, landing in the attic beside her, his suit scorched and his breathing heavy. Malphas followed, his red eyes dimmed by exhaustion. "You just have to be the Paradox. Give them the one thing they can't control." The ceiling vanished completely. Standing in the air above them was Cassiel. He was no longer the polite man in the white suit. He was a giant of blinding radiance, six wings of fire spreading across the horizon.

he couldn’t finish his overly dramatic dialogue as Avery chanted something, making him clutch his chest. He slumped to the ground and withered as if in extreme pain. She moved closer to him, “I wanted you to do it willingly, because the process would have been easier. Seems like I have to do it the hard way.” She kept chanting a spell, and a white mist emerged out of Castiel’s body. It seemed like Avery was extracting the souls right out of his body and it manifested in the form of a mist. The mist detached from his body completely, separating into white smoke shaped int the form of bodies which floated in the air.

He takes his shirt off, rather aggressively, and his wings rip through his skin without warning. “Jesus fucking Christ!” Inez cries out, hiding behind me. “It’s alright,” I tell her, coaxing her out, “they’re just wings.” She examines Samael’s dark, blood-splattered wings, “Wow… can you do that?” she asks, looking up at me. “No, but what I can do is way cooler,” I give her a wink and a slight nudge towards Samael. He looks at me worriedly, “I’ll be right back.” He doesn’t give Inez a chance to prepare herself, he scoops her up in his arms.

The noise of the two Gods fighting was deafening, lightning strikes and flames escaping the ground in defense, both of them had wings so that they could fight in the air; Zeus had angel wings, feathery and white, while Lucifer had the demon wings that resembled that of a bat, the continuous flapping of their wings created more noise as well. “Damien!” Kora brought my attention to her, “It’s almost time!” She shouted. “Almost time for what?” I hollered back, the wind picking up some more. “I need you to take Abby’s hands for a moment while I clear this part of the Garden of the souls, I can’t do it if I’m connected to her,” she explained and I didn’t question further, I took a hold of Abby’s

And now, he was floating in the air again. "You ... Just what are you?" I said, unsure of how to think anymore. "Seraphine Valentina. I have been watching you for a long time. Your power, of course, wouldn't be able to hurt me in the slightest," he said from up there. Now, I narrowed my eyes, witnessing what was happening to his body. If I wasn't mistaken, a pair of black wings slowly grew from his back. Yes, there was no mistaking it. He had wings!

“she is not a refund “ “ You can't have both of them , Tristan, that's evil” “ I do and you're not having any” “ She's the only kind left don't let me fight you” Only kind? I shoved her back, uninterested in playing my part in their dramatic reunion act.

I had to clear my throat before I could respond “Angels shouldn’t have clipped wings.” “I understand hold just a moment.” The man that had answered pressed a few buttons and before I knew it, I could hear June’s voice through the phone, “Are you safe?” June was straight to the point, but in her line of work I assume she had to be.
