We had survived the dark simulation, destroyed the Shadow King, and brought real peace to the world. Suddenly, a strange, dark shadow fell over the sun. The bright afternoon light didn't fade into clouds it was swallowed whole. High above the palace, three massive black ships with glowing red sails dropped out of the upper atmosphere, floating silently right above the city's glass dome! They weren't ocean ships, and they weren't Selena's machines. They were ancient celestial warships from the realm beyond the sky. A loud, thunderous voice echoed down from the lead warship, shaking the palace stone beneath our feet:

"The continent isn't sinking..." I looked up at the shattered sky, my Sovereign mark burning brighter than the sun, as the absolute, horrifying truth washed over us: "It's floating," I realized, my voice echoing through the bond. "The five provinces aren't land... they're five massive star-metal ships... and they just detached from the ocean floor."

I answered, digging my fingers into his broad shoulders and pulling his mouth to mine with a hungry kiss that filled us both with certainty of victory. Our moment of peace lasted only a heartbeat. A deafening metallic roar shook the cavern’s foundations. It did not come from the palace or the pass—it came from the ocean horizon visible through the great coastal rift. The deep, guttural blast of an ancient war horn tore through the northern night. I looked up toward the cavern’s opening, my mark blazing brighter as I saw the shapes of ten massive black‑steel ships emerge from the sea fog, driven by violet fire that dwarfed the Council’s magic.

The "Sovereign Nodes" were no longer gods; they were "Broken Assets" searching for a "Hard-Reset" that didn't exist.

Small structures extend from its surface like antennae made of living crystal. “Coalition vessels are not purely technological,” the angel explains. “They are partially biological.” Matteo squints at the image. “That sounds uncomfortable.” Severiel ignores him. “They grow their ships.” Ezra studies the structure. “Which means the crew may also be integrated with it.” Correct.
