Supporting Character Novels & Stories

As we took our positions on set, the director called out, “Action!” The scene unfolded with my character, Rose, pouring her heart out to Dylan's character, Andrew, the second male protagonist. As the piano began playing, I held my breath and took a deep sigh, tears pouring down my cheeks as I tried to fit myself into the vulnerable state of my character who had a recent break up. Dylan's character, Andrew, was the soothing balm I needed just like in reality. His role was to support me, and help me get back on my feet.

Double standards much? [I knew it. Camille's a greedy woman.] Apparently, in this world, I was nothing more than a despised supporting character. No matter what I did, it was wrong. But why should I care? I walked straight to Penny Woods, my former coworker, and scheduled a same-day abortion. The comments poured in again. [She booked an abortion? That's so cruel!] [If Nigel finds out she's arranging this behind his back for Alice, she's done for.]

He refused to feel guilty at the sight of Aesthelia's bleeding cheeks. Aesthelia can not find herself to disagree. The real Aesthelia was really a pain in everyone's ass, but why did she do this to become this unfortunate? transmigrating to a novel, becoming a supporting character who will die. "Oh really? You run your mouth too much, "Aesthelia said, annoyed. Aesthelia supports the male lead character too much, but having this kind of conversation with him right now is something that snaps Aesthelia's patience low.

The unspoken understanding between them solidified, and Robert, a compassionate soul, silently vowed to stand by Sandra's side as she grappled with the emotional toll of witnessing her friend's struggle. Days turned into weeks, and Sandra found herself increasingly leaning on Robert for support. His kind gestures, a gentle touch on her shoulder during moments of vulnerability, or a shared glance that conveyed more than words ever could, built an unspoken bridge of understanding between them. Sandra's tales of Sophia's resilience and Larry's unwavering commitment resonated deeply with Robert, prompting him to become not just a confidant but a steadfast ally in the face of adversity.

G00gle if you don't know what character setting is. Here I will give examples on how your CS (character setting drives your story forward), and explain why. Eg.1 A pretty girl in school has a crush on the most handsome, popular boy. They meet and fall in love and get together after some interaction.

She had never once thought of shirking her responsibility to support her parents—such a thing was never even a possibility. If she truly did something like that, Lucas would have started doubting his own judgment. The Aurora he chose back then was nothing like this. He could not believe that a girl who had been kind-hearted since childhood would suddenly lose her beautiful character after growing up. In the end, Lucas thought it through. Looking at Aurora, he said seriously, “No matter what you decide to do, I’ll support you. The most important thing is whenever you turn back, I’ll be right behind you.”
