Catching the Moon (Chasing the Moon Book 2)

All she could do was put it in that drawer she kept in the back of her mind… where she kept all the things she couldn’t handle at the moment. Once she made it to the door and opened it she saw Rainn standing there with her hands full. “Oh shit Rainn I’m so sorry!” Em told her. “It’s okay.. I’ve lost feeling in my left arm so that might become a problem later but other than that I’m fine ..” Rainn joked. Em laughed .. though it was forced. She took a few things from her friend though she wasn’t a huge help since she only had the use of one hand.

he winked. She paddled out, limbs trembling from exertion and thrill. The world behind her, hospitals, heartbreaks, mistakes, felt small from here. A wave approached. He yelled, “Stand up!” She tried, knees quaking, balance shaky. For two glorious seconds… She stood. The wind roared in approval. The ocean cradled her triumph. And she screamed, not in fear, but in victory. Sarah Smith, cardiothoracic surgeon, just surfed again for the second time.

My Alpha Cheated On Me with His Sister

My Alpha Cheated On Me with His Sister

Rhys didn't push her, just played with her like a child, chasing each other on the sand, splashing each other with water. Laughter echoed across the empty beach. Selena hadn't laughed so genuinely from her heart in a very, very long time. Just then, a huge wave suddenly swept in from afar without warning, crashing down on Selena. Selena saw herself about to be swept into the deep sea by the turbulent waves. Just as she panicked, thinking she was about to become fish food, a strong, powerful arm suddenly reached out from the side, grabbed her wrist tightly, and then pulled her steadily into a broad embrace.

Pain Is a Family Matter

Pain Is a Family Matter

She turned into a minor influencer, famous for being fearless and "blessed." Her fans called her unkillable. They had no idea. When she jumped from two miles in the air, I shattered a leg. When she chased sharks in deep water, agony tore through my upper arm so violently I thought something had bitten straight through my muscle. When I begged her to stop, she did not. That night, she cut herself with broken glass, crying loudly enough to throw the whole house into panic. My brothers responded the way they always did. They locked me in the attic.

Sacrificed for the Family

Sacrificed for the Family

“My request was denied. But I was seriously injured. The family granted me seven days of medical leave.” “Injured?” Adrian’s face shifted. He stepped forward fast. “Where? How bad?” I lifted my sleeve. Under the moonlight, my arm—once pale and soft—was a map of survival: deep scars from frostbite, cuts from broken equipment, bruises from hauling crates, burns from improvised repairs… Ugly. Raw. Brutal. Adrian’s pupils constricted sharply. “What happened to you? Frost—what the hell—how did it get this bad?” I let him hold my arm.

The Billionaire's Obsession Came Too Late

The Billionaire's Obsession Came Too Late

A massive piece of wooden dock came barreling through the water on the crest of a wave. "No!" I tried to turn us, but I was too slow. The wood slammed directly into my right shoulder. A pop echoed in my ears. I screamed. The pain shot down my spine, rendering my right arm completely useless. But I didn't let go of him. I clamped my teeth together and used my good arm to hold him up. I kicked my legs, maneuvering us toward the endless water. "Come on," I grunted, crying in pain as I hooked my broken arm over the edge of the wood, using it as a flotation device.

The Player Who Gets Played

The Player Who Gets Played

I pulled the dump handle, trying to deflate and control my way up. But then another wave hit me, seconds after I finally surfaced and inhaled the fresh ocean air. I was pushed down deeper, I was struggling to pull the handle to my left. But then I hunched in pain when I realize that my left arm was wounded, most likely broken from the previous strong impact.

Finished this book in a jiffy! It was a good read. SHORT & SWEET! No unnecessary drama. Though it would be nice if the author mentioned what happened to the sexual harassment complaint. But m happy nonetheless!

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

Though they were unable to see the whole thing because all of them had drowned in that sea. “The headmaster didn’t warn us about that sea, didn’t he?” said Karina, her eyes still wide as she stared at the waves. Perhaps, this would be the most unforgettable moment of her life. Who would have thought Reigna could pull off something of the sort? She literally lifted the ocean with nothing but the light on her neck. Skippers were really strong. Shaking her head, Michelle leaned her head on her knees, her arms wrapped around it. “Do you think Jane will be okay?”

The world building is well-crafted and just by the narration na hindi gumagamit ng deep english words, it really brings the reader in the world of the mc. Prologue pa lang, one can tell the mc is someone strong-headed and even though she lost her memories, that characteristic didn't change.

honestly, I'm not a fan of fantasy but Z's character is just damn! I'm imagining her like a goddess. Also, I'm very amaze on how the story is being written. Can I have your intelligence? You're too great, I swear! Reading this story is a must! Looking for someone named George now HAHAHA
