Life After Prison

Life After Prison

Severin walked right up to him and looked down on him just like a winner. "How can you ask me to let you go? If you didn't show yourself, I probably will consider that. But you did just the opposite and you even tried to kill us. I really can't think of any reason to let you go." The man was in despair after hearing that. No words could describe just how remorse he felt now. He regretted being a greedy person who pried on the items in his fellow members' spatial rings and also the spatial rings of the people who killed his fellow members.

This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.
Antoine Williams
one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

He couldn't hold his wrath any longer in this volatile situation. Micheal's voice was trembling with intense emotion. "No, I will never forget the misery they inflicted on me," he said, his eyes flaming with unresolved rage. "I'll never forget how they wrecked my family, the countless nights I spent in agony, the never-ending pain that engulfs me even now. I'll never forget the remorse I feel for not defending my family from those awful beasts. No, none of that is going away. I won't be able to rest until I exact my vengeance."

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

No one present could think of the right words to say under the circumstances sure quite a few were veterans they could relate to a degree, but never had any found themselves on the opposite sides of the fence as their family. "You know... The worst part ... Carrying the sin of living. I always led, but I was never the one to fall. I have to carry out the revenge for the ones that can't." Survivor's guilt... The worst of the demons to eat at your soul.

I Won't Fall For You

I Won't Fall For You

I looked like death itself. I left the room and made my to the kitchen. My body felt weak because I was so hungry. I didn't know how long I will be having these nightmares for so I might have to get some meds to carry me through the nights. I feel no remorse for what I did to him but what if he didn't survive? I couldn't possibly consider myself a murderer.

REJECTED MATE

REJECTED MATE

Nothing in his handsome features said he was trying to fool me, but it wasn’t like I was the best judge of character considering I’d fallen for Griff. He leaned forward, his brows raised as though waiting for me to respond. I licked my dry lips. “How can I feel remorse for a grifter who seduced me, broke my heart, and stole my pack? We were supposed to be mates.” “Would you believe that I understand your pain?” he said, his voice soft. “Love is an emotion exceedingly more dangerous than hate or fear or fury. When scorned, it can inspire people to commit atrocities.” “Then why am I being punished?”

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

"It's Angelina's birthday. Just die if you're so eager for attention." Her remark seemed to inspire the killer as he carved wounds into my body, tortured me, fed my flesh to dogs, and shattered my bones bit by bit before scattering them in various places. As he discarded my final bone, I heard him say in satisfaction, "I guess I fulfill her mother's wish perfectly." I lingered in silence by the filthy ditch, waiting for the day when my mother would remember me and wonder where I had gone. Alas, I didn't get to see her. Instead, an old woman found me.

Married To My Billionaire Nemesis

Married To My Billionaire Nemesis

“Children who are abused often internalize the abuser's narrative. It becomes a voice in their mind. A critic that sounds like the truth." Hayden stares at her. "Hayden, do you know the primary difference between someone like Rachel and someone like you?" He shakes his head. "She enjoyed causing pain. You're horrified that you did." His expression falters. Dr. Ellis's voice remains steady. "Psychologically speaking, remorse is evidence that empathy survived." Hayden's breathing trembles slightly. I slide my hand onto his knee. He doesn't look at me, but his fingers tighten over mine. "I keep thinking about the other victims," he says. “The men who wrote to me."

The Billionaire's undercover bride

The Billionaire's undercover bride

“But you can control what happens next. You can fight for him now. That’s what matters. That’s what will matter when he wakes.” I wanted to believe her. I wanted desperately to believe that my actions from this point forward could make a difference, could protect him, could mend the damage done. But the weight of remorse was suffocating, and it pressed on me like a physical force. I shivered, tears streaming down my face, my hands clutching the blanket as if it were the only thing keeping me tethered to reality.

A Wife's Cry

A Wife's Cry

The depth of his regret intensifies, reminding him of the irreversible damage he has caused. In his heart, he carries the weight of her tears, the weight of her fear. It is a burden that eats away at him, gnawing at his conscience, and leaving him hollow inside. The weight of his remorse becomes an inescapable prison, trapping him in a cycle of regret and self-condemnation.

When Love Turns into Betrayal

"Regret is wishing things had gone differently. Remorse is understanding you hurt someone and genuinely wanting to make it right." "Which is why I'm making David do this publicly. If he's really remorseful, he'll follow through. If he's not, it'll show." "And you'll drop him as a client." "In a heartbeat." I saved my document. "I'm not building my reputation on helping companies fake accountability. That makes me no better than the people who helped Ethan try to destroy me."
