Susan Branch Books Novels & Stories

Susan appeared to have been deep in thought as she looked ahead at Peachtree Road. “Do you know what he told me right before he. . .” Susan sighed, “right before he died?” Brian watched her, her short dark hair resting lightly over her shoulders. Her eyes were calm and clear which was better unlike the last time Brian had seen when they were bloodshot with crying. “He was wondering how he had never asked me out,” Susan smiled and Brian placed a hand on her shoulder. The glumness was also lifting elsewhere when Marcus Vega had called everyone, bringing up his vacation plan—the one he had started on during the graduation.

She just wanted to quietly wait for the end of the banquet. When she opened the book's title page, she was immediately taken aback. It said: To Camille: May you have a peaceful life. May you be well. The signature was: Susan. This is... a book published by Susan? Shirley flipped through it and saw Susan's name as the author. Shirley was amazed. Susan was truly talented! No wonder so many people spoke highly of Susan. She was truly a talented woman! But when Shirley finished reading the preface, her gaze was immediately drawn to a line of words.

"Do you also read it?" "Not me, but my younger son," Susan replied. "Lately, he's been really into mystery and detective novels. He's been devouring 'Seven Days,' and he recently bought some other books by the same author, like 'Murder Weapon' and 'The Deserted School'... She continued, "Oh, and he even reads that author's young adult fiction. The other day, when I went to drop off his lunch, I saw it on his desk and flipped through it a bit. My goodness, it was so cheesy, I almost couldn't take it!"

I couldn't help but giggle at his expense, but at the same time, I didn't want to be blamed for anyone's death. "Okay, I'm sorry. Please don't cancel my admission," I said, feeling defeated. He let out a sigh of relief. "Only on one condition," he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. "And what is that?" "You see that bookshelf over there?" he pointed to the corner of his office. I turned to look at the bookshelf, and sure enough, the books were scattered. "What do you want me to do there?" I asked. "Well, you're going to arrange it, and it must be according to their titles," he said, clearly enjoying himself.

“How do you think the public will react when Susan gets to your mansion with her bags packed and all and she is denied entry into her father’s house?” “She is living somewhere, is she not? Why would she…” “Their landlord has given them an eviction order,” Brian said, “and since her father owns a lot of houses, I see no reason why she has to rent elsewhere.” “This is a joke…” “Miss Susan would like to have one of the master’s bedrooms,” he continued, cutting me off, “she also needs a library for her books and…” “Get out of my office,” I fumed with anger. Brian stood up with a smile, then dropped a brown envelope on my table.

Since Susan is still doing most of the luna’s work until Adron is dead. Every time I walked in here, my breath got taken away. It was beautiful. The smell of books was something I’ll never tire of. There was one book that really stood out to me. It was called The History of Vampire Behavior. Sitting down, I opened it up and began to read.
