Susan Branch Books Novels & Stories

Susan introduced me to her three assistants, who, in each hand, had folders that looked really heavy. Oh shit. "Oh, my Susan. This will take forever, won't it?" I sighed and started sitting down. She smiled at me and handed me my coffee and my very own thick folder. With beautiful lettering: The Bride Book. Damn... I bravely opened the folder and my heart sank when I saw that it had hundreds and hundreds of checklists. I quickly closed it with a loud thud. Fuck. Should've brought Ken with me. I drank my coffee as Susan was about to start and quickly shushed her and took a deep breath.

Lucas eyed her in anger, he was desperate and he was ready to take the shot this woman offered him no matter what he was ready for it. “Because we want the same thing, and I would help you,” she responded. “Now, lead me to Brian,” Lucas ordered and Susan smirked. It wasn’t long, Susan had bribed one of the maids at the balck Mason to help her find Brian. And the maid was willing to help as she pointed the way. After three weeks Lucas can finally see the process as he enters London with his goons only to find Brian in one of his homes there. “Ah, I see you found me,” Brian mumbled as he turned to face them. He wasn’t surprised to see Susan standing there with a wide grin on her face.

Susan rounded a corner and froze when she saw Briana. Briana was standing in her path, her arms crossed and her expression unreadable. It was like Briana was waiting for her. The torchlight Susan was holding onto flickered and fell from her hand, casting ominous shadows across Briana's sharp features. Susan’s heart banged in her ribcage, but she forced herself to remain calm, her mind scrambling all at her day's activities for an explanation. "Susan," Briana called, her voice cold and clipped. "Where are you sneaking off to at this hour?"

So she let him be. There was no convincing Bran to do things when he’d already said no. Not having her link with Bran made it more difficult to stay in the cabin and read through her mother’s books. She couldn’t bother Grayson too much during the day because he needed to concentrate on doing his job as the sheriff. Bree was amazed at the amount of information the books contained. It had everything from the beneficial uses of everyday household items to love potions, curses, and cures for every ailment.

answered a deep, insolent voice. Sasha entered with his usual lazy gait, carrying a bag with sweets and a thick book with a dark cover. “I brought raspberry pie. And this one…” He raised the book. “Protection runes for impulsive witches.” “Is that a hint?” Susan arched an eyebrow. “It’s a confession that you almost died, and that I would hate to lose the only witch who isn’t afraid to curse me out.” Susan smiled sideways. But the mood changed quickly. Sasha got closer, his amber eyes fixing on her.

When will he see me as a desirable______. Blake didn’t finish when a blushing Susan pulled it away from him. “I’m sorry, Mr. Elon, this was left by my neighbor. She’s into romance novels,” Susan explained, holding the book to her chest as in protecting the words written in the book from his prying eyes. “It’s okay. So your neighbor like romance novels?” Blake asked, rising from the couch and looking Susan deeply into her eyes. “Sh, she does. It helps her relax over a hard time at the office, and she finds it a good escape.” Susan said quickly, turning so she wouldn’t have to look at Blake, secretly placing the book into her bag. “I’m ready to leave if you are.”

Seeing her limping steps, a small curve formed on her lips. "Good afternoon, Mrs. Martin." Susan gasped and looked back. "Oh, Mrs. Harper? You're home? How is your daughter? Is she better?" Melanie's smile almost turned cynical. She thought Susan's concern was not real. "Barbara is resting in her room. So, what are you doing here? Finished reading a book?" Susan shook her head gently. "No. I just finished tidying up the books." Melanie's eyebrows arched upwards. "The books you just read?"

The car took off in great speed, Suzanne went back inside and carried all the books to her room, determined to really make Ryan proud of her indeed. 'You need help with that?' Shane asked wryly as he eyed the books which she struggled to carry all by herself. 'I got it,' she said and shook her head at his offer. She made her way up the stairs carefully and slowly. 'Whatever!' Shane shrugged and left for the outdoors to jog. Suzanne managed to carry all the books to her room and sent them tumbling on her bed. She took in quick breaths and plopped down on her bed. Scanning quickly, she selected the smallest and thinest of the books.

Susan wants her and she’ll go if that’s what Susan wished. “Bash..listen to me” “No! No! No! You listen to me. You are not going anywhere. I’ll take care of everything” Zara clasped her hand with his and took him to the kitchen which is a bit far from the people in the living room. “Bash, I know you can save Bronson but Susan wants me and she’s not normal now. She’ll do anything to get me. Let’s not waste a minute. I want to know why she is doing this. Perhaps I can get information about Medusa from her”

With the 'summon' of the lost books, the books went back to any open spot that they found, and that mixed some books in sections that didn't belong to them. Susan was picking books, opening them to read and look at the first pages and then tossing them over her back. The tossed books would start floating and drop on organized piles that were divided by disciplines. Doing the sorting this way, she was the fastest in the group, managing to cover two bookshelves in the time that a normal witch would use to cover half a bookshelf. After sorting her first bookshelf, Susan saw that Leona and Joan started helping too. Leona was sorting books. While she was not a witch, Leona could identify the disc
