Why should we believe a person who’s half-dead? You’re just trying to save your skin.”

Saga pleaded with Pavel. “I do, Saga. This is why I am angry. I don't want to compete with anyone for Sunny’s love.” Pavel replied worriedly. He pulled one of his drawers and took out a Cuban cigar, ready to start smoking. “You cannot do that, boss.” Saga said, reminding him that Sunny could not stand smoke around her. Pavel frustratingly thrust the cigarette on the floor and stepped on it aggressively. “Let’s go out and drink then.” He said to his loyal aide. Saga was skeptical about leaving Sunny alone but Pavel was in a bad state. No one could reason with him when he was infuriated.

Sienna leaned forward and said, “Apart from living under the same roof for a few weeks, I don’t know much about Alaric. I can’t see how there is something related to my life that Alaric has kept a secret from me.” “Two years ago a witch cursed Alaric that he would die the moment he consummates his relationship with his mate. You are his soulmate, Sienna….” Sienna held her stomach and burst out laughing, “A witch had cursed him… really… you should have come up with something more realistic…” Aunt Sue waved her hand and the glass of water raised into the air and flew to her hand.
