Before Z could so much as jump from the desk, an obsidian-black shadow came into view. It was so swift in stretching that no matter how fast the members of the council were, they’ve still been trapped inside the dome it formed itself to.
“No sweats, huh.” Z’s eyes darted from the tint of the shadow to the purplish veins popping from his blackened hands. “I see, you still have a competent shadow, but I think it’s already taking a toll on you. Old age, perhaps?”
