Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

started Luis, his eyes being splashed with a darker shade of blue, “you won’t have the leisure to talk.” Before Z could so much as jump from the desk, an obsidian-black shadow came into view. It was so swift in stretching that no matter how fast the members of the council were, they’ve still been trapped inside the dome it formed itself to. “No sweats, huh.” Z’s eyes darted from the tint of the shadow to the purplish veins popping from his blackened hands. “I see, you still have a competent shadow, but I think it’s already taking a toll on you. Old age, perhaps?”

The world building is well-crafted and just by the narration na hindi gumagamit ng deep english words, it really brings the reader in the world of the mc. Prologue pa lang, one can tell the mc is someone strong-headed and even though she lost her memories, that characteristic didn't change.

honestly, I'm not a fan of fantasy but Z's character is just damn! I'm imagining her like a goddess. Also, I'm very amaze on how the story is being written. Can I have your intelligence? You're too great, I swear! Reading this story is a must! Looking for someone named George now HAHAHA

He eventually made the decision to send her overseas to pursue her studies in business administration. Natasha and Imade's friendship had only lasted for a year, but their bond went far beyond mere friendship. However, after Natasha's departure, all attempts to reach Imade proved futile. Her little phone had malfunctioned, causin

Possessing her Shadows

Possessing her Shadows

The one that pinned me to the floor harder than gravity when I fell. “Wait,” I said slowly. “How does that even happen?” Whoever this woman was, she either had to be crazy or crazy rich. Who the hell buys a club like ours? Of all the places in the city, she picked this one—the dive where the lights flickered, the carpets stank of cheap liquor, and the bouncers looked like they hadn’t been paid in weeks. The chaos that unraveled nearly every night was never surprising, especially because everyone was fake . Broken glass under the tables, customers yelling at dancers for change they already spent, bathrooms that smelled like a crime scene. Calling it a shithole would’ve been polite.

Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

Enzo is just happy to have all his ‘brothers’ The night air was sharp with sea salt and memory, Enzo stood at the edge of the pier, hands in his coat pockets, watching the shadows dance across the warehouse district. The same docks where shipments once moved in silence under the veil of moonlight. Where loyalty was currency and betrayal cost blood. He hadn’t set foot here in years—not since he chose a different path. A better one.

Shadows Of The Heart

Shadows Of The Heart

By the end of the night they had managed to raise a few thousand in investments and secured pledges of support for almost the same amount. It had been late by the time the event ended but the other staff were not ready to call it a night and insisted she went with them to a club for some harder drinks and to throw some shapes. Reluctantly, Carine had agreed and found herself in a bar that seemed to head back into the building that housed it for miles. Dark décor and mood lighting filled the space with a few tables scattered about and some more intimate booths set along one wall. In the middle had been the oddly shaped dance floor on which hundreds of people gyrated and shook to some thick ba

"But that doesn't make it any less real. The question now is what you're going to do about it." I stared out the window at the peaceful forest surrounding us, trying to process everything she'd told me. How had my life become so complicated? "The Shadow Council," I said finally. "How dangerous are they really?" Celeste's expression darkened. "They're not just dangerous—they're incredibly sophisticated. Think of them as assassins with unlimited resources and centuries of experience. They have members embedded in packs across the globe, often in positions of authority. They could strike at any time, from any direction."

Shadows & Whispers

Shadows & Whispers

Sapphire Austinyour office obsession
How could I know what was a lie when the foundation, something as simple as his last name, was a lie? The world around me crumbled. The room turned into just shadows of people, with whispers across the air. I felt a hand on my shoulder and my head snapped up to look at them; it was Cleo. I could see her lips moving but there was no sound. I looked over at the stage to see his eyes on me. He was still talking to the crowd, probably explaining everything, but I couldn’t hear anything that was being said. His face softened with apologetic eyes at me, and I wobbled to my feet. He twitched like he wanted to come to me but couldn’t.
