At one point some girls who were closer to the wall stiffened before trying to crawl over the girls next to them to get away from it. I could hear the crisp step of shoes coming down the hallway and two strong men in all black walked down before stopping at the room across from ours. They entered and took a screaming girl from the room. The boney girl tried to claw their faces before a needle was injected into her squirming side. They continued to hold her for several minutes as she slowly lost her fight. Her head fell forward just before they dragged her away, her feet trailing behind her with her matted hair covering her sunken face.

TAKEN forty- four Moving into the room, Allen locked the door behind him. Flora gulped at the little gesture that sent her. She couldn't imagine being alone in the room with Allen once again. They were plainly attracted to each other. She doubted if she wouldn't move close to him.

He didn't move an inch. "I- I wanted to say am sorry again for, for the little accident that happened earlier; so I brought a piece offering cake?" She could feel her hands starting to tremble on the plate. She needed to place down fast before it dropped. As she drew closer and lower to the little table by his sides to place the plate, he seemed to immediately take off his shades and take a normal sitting position, causing them both to coincide each other's gazes at a ridiculously thin distance. He was a man of control, keeping it cool, staring her down, intimidating her with his amber browns and broad shoulders. She was weak, her breathing hitched, her lower lip somehow always finding its w

"Asher... Asher! Please take deep breaths. Deep breaths please." Asher struggled to hear her over the sound of his own breathing and the ringing in his ears. His vision was blurry, and the person he was sure was Lily a minute ago, suddenly seemed like his mother and she was... She was... " Asher! " Lily's scream jolted his mind and the person was once again, Lily, although blurry. He could tell it was her now. " Please take a deep breath, please. No, think of a color, three colours! Red. Pink. Orange. Think of them"

His surroundings darkened as the darkness began creeping in from all directions, eventually engulfing him. Tyr took out his phone with slightly shivering hands. Like an addict in a trance, he took out his phone and immediately started playing the Sokoban games he downloaded. He played and played and played. It took less than half an hour for him to beat the final level of the Sokoban game.

The metallic scent of blood filled the air, mingling with the acrid stench of the fucking bloodsuckers. Suddenly, a heart-stopping sight caught my eye: Damien, loomed over Benita. His fangs gleamed menacingly, poised to strike. Without a second thought, I leapt forward, covering the distance in a heartbeat. My body collided with his, knocking him away from Benita just in time.

The second followed logically. The third. The fourth. Twenty-eight minutes. Two stones remaining. Contraction. Long. The residual tightening didn't release. My hands were trembling slightly. Not from effort—from the medication losing its hold. I pressed my palms flat against the cube's surface for one steadying second. Felt the logic of the system under my hands. The completed hierarchy it was trying to express, almost there, one move from resolution. Moved the fifth stone. The sixth had one position. I placed it.
