Talia Novels & Stories

-------------- --------------- That evening . . . -------------- --------------- Talia was sitting around a table on one of the abandoned subway cars, having a pleasant meal of ravioli when she sensed a presence at the door. Without looking up, Talia began to speak. "So, have you finished being a bitch for this week, or do you still have some minutes left on your plan?" "That's not fair," Red said, sitting down across from her friend. "It's completely fucking fair and you know it," Talia said irritably.

Brixlee murmured to herself, annoyed by the situation. "I'm sorry," Brixlee quickly apologized, attempting to make peace. However, the young lady with black hair, long lashes, and Irish blue eyes seemed uninterested in resolving the situation. "Do you know who I am?" she asked, almost challenging Brixlee. Brixlee was taken aback, wondering who this person could be. "I'm sorry, I don't..." "I'm Talia Mendez, and you bumped into me!" the young lady exclaimed as if that should explain everything.

After all, she was the future madam of the Elijah Consortium after the divorce of Ashley and Jaxon. “Let’s go!” Talia was all smiles. She was so immersed with the fantasy she wove in her mind that she failed to notice the secret eye contacts of her assistants. Talia took her purse, chose a doll shoes stud with diamonds, and clipped her hair to show off her swan-like neck. Her steps were brisk as if she was floating in cloud nine. And her heart was so happy that she sometimes felt some chest tightness.

Evangeline’s blood turned to ice. Silas stepped in front of her instinctively, one hand out to keep her behind him. “Who are you?” “My name is Talia,” the woman said. “And I represent a pack you’ve never heard of—but the girl behind you is tied to it by blood.” Evangeline’s heart pounded. The words felt like a door creaking open inside her, letting out old secrets and cold wind. “What do you mean ‘by blood’?” she asked, stepping out from behind Silas before he could stop her.

The woman with purple hair tips asked, “Is this your boyfriend, Talia?” Talia said in contempt, “B*llsh*t! Would I be interested in him? I come from a wealthy family, right? Do you think he’s from a family of equal social rank as mine? I can see it with my eyes.” The woman with purple hair tips was named Violet Quirk, while the woman with thick makeup was known as Leyla Lang. Violet chuckled and said, “I can see that he’s quite a good drinker.” Talia said, “Oh, that’s nothing!”

I never return for seconds. I saw the flash of pain or...something that crossed my mystery angel's face just before she turned away. My first instinct was to go to her, which in itself should've sent off warning alarms in my head. Talon Avery does not go after females; they come after me. By the time I was able to extricate myself from the clutches of my unwanted admirer, she was heading across the field in the opposite direction.

But for Talia, it felt more like a stage set for her personal tragedy, complete with a spotlight and a dramatic score. She stood at the edge of it all, arms crossed over her chest, her heart fluttering unevenly like a moth caught in a windstorm. Dressed in her dark leather patrol gear, warm and durable, perfect for the cool Wyoming nights, sucked for sudden shifts—she felt out of place. Her red curls were pulled back into ceremonial braids threaded with gold, a tradition passed down from her mother. The fiery strands marked her as the daughter of Elias Graves, the former Beta of Black River. Tall at five-ten, with amber eyes and porcelain skin, she was a beaut

"Why!? What's wrong with her?" "Tala's mother was Velvela, and she was already a twin venom" "Already?" "Yes, so for the lack of a better description, Tala is a tri venom, the first of her kind"

She looked around the age of 23, and when she turned to us, I noticed her eyes. They were different colors. Her right was blue while her left was brown. “Alpha, welcome,” She bowed slightly and turned her attention to me. A smile settled on her lips instantly. “You must be the new one,” She walked forward and placed her hand out. “I’m Talia, nice to meet you.” I hesitantly took her hand, shaking it. “Cana,” “I know.” She turned her attention back to Zane and asked. “She’s the one I’d be training?”

Cut off and isolated from the general world. I looked at Tali, pointed for her to share her story. She cleared her throat. "Oh, sure, make me follow Ms. Ninja over here." She blew out a breath that disturbed her bangs. "I'm Tali. I'm an expert level Krav Maga practitioner. I recently escaped from and killed a number of the Night Terror gang in Russia. What I don't have in classic training, I make up for in sheer tenacity and stubbornness. If it needs to get done, I'll find a way to make it happen."
