Then she had left, her elegant figure disappearing through the doorway like a queen leaving her subject. I had fallen asleep almost immediately. Now, as my eyes slowly opened, I froze. Talia was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching me. She looked even more intimidating up close — late thirties, beautiful in a mature, commanding way. Her dark hair fell over one shoulder, and she was wearing a silk robe that clung to her full figure. I panicked. I tried to sit up too fast. Pain shot through my ribs and I gasped, but fear pushed me harder. I swung my legs off the bed, trying to stand.

*** Meanwhile… Vanessa Hart sipped champagne on the balcony of her Manhattan suite. The morning sun bathed her in gold, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. Talia James was supposed to be a bump in the road, a momentary distraction. Not a movement. She scrolled through Talia's photos on social media, each comment like a mosquito bite on her ego. "She's so real, I love her!" "I want to be a mom like her someday!" "Power couple energy!!" Her grip on the glass tightened. She opened her burner account and started typing.

She was wearing a maroon off shoulder romper with black ballerina heels. Talia has never had so much to drink while clubbing with us. She decided it was time as her boyfriend of six years cheated on her with her roommate from college, "To all the fuck boys who think they can control you," she starts with the tequila shot in her hand, "and to all the decent boys who just want to ride you. I say fuck it and let's drink!" she says as we take our shot.

While Willow was lost in her own thoughts, Quentin came up behind Talia and reached for her jacket, following Lucas' lead. Talia's whole body went stiff. Her voice came out shaky. "I... I can do it myself." Quentin could tell that she was embarrassed, so he pulled his hands back and kept his voice soft. "Okay. Go ahead." Talia gave a quiet hum and took off the jacket herself. The moment it came off, a pink swimsuit with a ruched floral neckline was revealed. The color looked beautiful against her skin.

How could she accept less now that she had seen the best? "Chris, what am I supposed to do? It seems I've put on some weight recently. I can't fit into this gown." The redness had crept into her eyes. She sat down on the couch next to him and threw her arms around him, clearly distraught. Talia knew that if her weight was the problem, she just needed to shed a few pounds to wear the gown, but the truth was that her frame was too big for it. There was no way she could wear it for a long time if it was not altered.

After lunch, John and I make our way out front and walk towards the edge of the trees and start to strip down so we can shift, this way we can keep our clothes intact for when we are done and put them back on, but when I start to strip down I feel eyes on me from behind and when I turn around to see who it is, it’s that girl who was sitting by James at lunch, she is walking towards me with lust in her eyes and her eyes trail my body from top to bottom and back up again and I feel chills run down my spine, and they are not the good kind. When she makes her way to us, she looks me in the eye. “Hey Alpha Jaxson, you guys going out for a run and to swim by the lake?” This girl is trouble with a

Inside Room 304, the pastel pink accents and light blue velvet pillows were completely buried under a sea of discarded hangers, leather jackets, and half-empty bottles of setting spray. "If we miss the window for the surge pricing, we are walking, and I am not navigating three blocks of broken campus brick in these heels," Talia declared. She was standing in front of our full-length mirror, adjusting a sleek, backless black mini dress that hugged every curve perfectly. I’ll slim down fast.” Jason’s interest sparked instantly. “Pilates is great. I heard it really shapes your body. You know, curves in all the right places, tiny waist…” He clicked his tongue. “Jenna, you’re not bad-looking to begin with. If you get a killer body, that’ll really boost your appeal.
