My CEO's Baby Mama
*******
The next morning, I knocked on the door to his office after standing behind the door for about ten minutes, clenching my resignation letter in hand.
I heard someone answer from behind the door, “Come in,” he said.
I entered and stood a good distance away from his table.
“Good morning, sir,” I uttered shyly.
I didn't get any response.
“I'm here to tender my resignation letter. Sir, I'd like to say that I really appreciate this opportunity, but I don't want to work here anymore. Here it is,”
I said, moving forward to drop the letter on his table.
As I lifted my hand, I heard him say without looking up at me, “You can't resign, Bella.”
