said Elsie going into her usual sad mode gesture, drooped shoulders dry as a nuns nasty lips and the pity in her eyes made her look like a dog craving for a bone. "You can't change the past you know" "I know am just tired of all this lying it's like am entangled in a spider web, some sort of quicksand the more I try to fight it the deeper I sink" "We will figure it out, it's a good thing you brought me along we are going to negotiate a deal with him" "You'll do that for me?" "Anything for you bitch, I love you. Bring it in" she said the two embracing each other.

Who's that someone she is talking about? Is he the reason behind the mysterious disappearance of my clock birthmarks? Did he also change my time of death before? What if that woman is right? What if something is really off? Should I believe her? Is there really someone who's trying to change my fate? Who is he?

Matt joked in response, resulting in a quiet chuckle from the group in the otherwise still museum. Clayton handed the sword to Camden to have a go. The instant her hand wrapped around the hilt, she was pulled back in time to the memory she had been trying so hard to repress. Her mind raced with flashing images. A waterfall, a cup of coffee, playing cards, a closed door, Jake towering over her, the metal rod in her hand, Jamie leaning against the wall, the rod protruding from Jake's back, blood, blood, blood...

Alec, his hand on the hilt of his blade, said, "We've faced insurmountable odds before. We'll navigate this web and restore the balance." Eldric's gaze met Sasha's, "Remember, in the realm of time, things aren't always as they seem. Trust your instincts and rely on each other." As the guardians prepared to step into the intricate maze of time, they knew this journey would challenge their perceptions, question their decisions, and test their bonds. But they were resolute, ready to confront the fracture and the mysteries it held. The moment the guardians stepped into the time web, their surroundings shifted dramatically. I exclaimed as I rushed towards them, screaming, shouting, crying, not minding the fact there was blood over there even when I slipped and fell I got up and grabbed them. That was when the police held me back and said. "It is going to be alright," I lunged up from my bed screaming. "Noooooo," I was breathing huskily, like someone who had just run ten thousand miles of marathons and lost. I was sweating profusely and I felt a hand touch me. "What is it darling?" Justin asked as he cuddled me in his arms and I burst into tears. It's been ten years and I am still haunted by the ghost of my past. The day my parents were killed before me.

(Adelaide) Time surrendered its shape somewhere between the second wound and the third, uncoiling itself with the slow inevitability of a serpent sloughing its ancient skin. Only the present endured, inescapable and pitiless. Time did not pass; it unravelled, each thread snapping in turn until nothing remained but the moment itself, drawn taut and merciless as the blade of a fallen angel.

With small hands pressed on the glass, she moved forward into the mirror. "You weren't supposed to pick a path and win the game." A pause. "You made the decision, so the door won't open," she added. "When you remember why you sealed it, it will open." The mirror wavered. The kid was gone. And the world's fissures started to scream. Like glass, time broke. Not broken, but revolted. The heavens throbbed. The stars turned around. Like paper, buildings folded in on themselves. Timelines that had long since crumbled screamed.

"A finite duration." "We all have a timeline, Cale." "But mine was... infinite. Or indefinite. Now... I have a countdown." "Does that scare you?" Cale reeled in the line a few inches. "No," Cale said. "Before... time was a loop. It repeated. Tuesday happened a thousand times. The bridge fell a thousand times. It was... stagnant." "And now?" "Now," Cale said, "time is a line. It moves away. It disappears." "That makes it precious."

In Geneva, the morning sun over Lake Geneva suddenly stopped in the sky, jumped backward three hours, and locked into a perfectly stable dawn. In London, the hands of Big Ben spun counterclockwise at a furious pace before snapping into perfect alignment with a clock in Tokyo. Across the world, the bleeding edges of the splintered timelines—the burning cities and ancient legions—were gently pulled back into their proper eras, sealed away by a golden web of chronological anchors. The timeline wasn't being erased. It was being reinforced.

Another distortion flashed suddenly beside them. Elaine froze briefly. She saw another version of Lily crying beside a hospital bed. Another Adrian is screaming. Another version of herself— Dead. The image vanished instantly. Elaine nearly stumbled. Lily caught her arm sharply. “Don’t look at them!” “What are they?!” “Fragments!” Lily’s voice shook now, too. “The timelines are bleeding together!” The ground trembled violently beneath them again. Elaine’s thoughts spiraled. Everything was breaking apart. And somehow—
