I tried to remember last night but all I got were pieces, Loud music, Riri, A guy with slick hair who called himself Ray or Roy and then I got drunk, then when I looked towards scout something flash in my head.

The cycle of days I kept paddling. I wrap my quilt with little unease. Looks like my arms lack vigor. My heart's allied with my body, both disheartened with fate’s conspiracy. Mountain's feature softened and he was about to say something to Joseph when the girl shouted, "Incoming!" Mountain was fast. Extremely fast for a large person. He came at Joseph like a blur and tackled him to the ground. A jumbled vision of foliage and trees and bushes, before he felt himself slammed against the ground. Joseph felt the wind knocked out of him as he heard the whistle followed by the loudest sound he's ever heard in all his 16 years under the Tau Ceti sun.
