Tania said but she sounded far away because of the heavy thump of my blood sloshing through my veins in my ears, "was it?"
I didn't need to look at her to know a grimace had her eyebrows furrowing until the skin between them crinkled.
I shook my head and managed to wheeze out, "I just need to get used to it."
"Practice makes perfect I guess," she mused, "pro tip, hold your breath so it doesn't suck it out of you."
"Thanks, I think I figured that one out," I grumbled, propping myself up on an elbow. Drinking in my surroundings of ice carved into bricks all around me I asked, "are we in an igloo?"
