For some reason, the food that Aditua had praised at first had such a good taste that when he ate it again, the taste changed. Aditya didn't feel anything; the food tasted bland in his mouth. "I just realized that it turns out that being with you makes everything I feel beautiful, and the food I eat tastes delicious, but after hearing your parting words, my whole world feels changed; even the taste of this food also changes in just a matter of minutes," Aditya muttered.

I stopped. I should wait for Stella. I looked outside. She was still on the call with the same expression on her face. “Just eat,” I muttered to myself. I took a small bite out of it. I kissed my teeth. “Wow,” I whispered under my breath. The taste was… rich. It tasted like something the royal family would eat everyday. I took another bite of it. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would. Then something shifted. I paused. My throat felt strange.

“Dario you didn’t have to do this.” “And miss you having something sweet in the morning no way.” He chimed. “So what is this?” I cooed, staring at the plate in front of me, after having toast I thought I wouldn’t have any room for more food but staring at this somehow opened up my stomach. “This.” He pointed to the food. “Is going to knock your taste buds off .” “I doubt that.” “Try it and see.” I followed his words, and with my folk I cut a piece out of it, then I shoved it down my throat.

There is a bowl of oatmeal, omelet with toast, and some cut fruits. Nothing seems suspicious, so I take a chance and start with the oatmeal. As soon as the food touches my tongue, I can’t help but frown at the familiar taste… like I have tasted it before somewhere. Why does the taste of this food seem so familiar?

Anna So it turns out a tasting menu is a basically where the waiter keeps coming back with a bunch of plates with small servings of big dishes for us to try, so we get to taste one of everything on the menu but without inflating our stomachs into one of those big exercise balls you see at the gym.
