Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Chapter 85 – The Prophecy Unveiled The darkness swallowed her whole, suffocating and absolute. Jessica clawed at the void around her, desperate for purchase, but there was nothing—no ground beneath her feet, no air to breathe, no light to guide her. Panic surged through her veins as she realized she wasn’t alone. Somewhere in the blackness, laughter echoed—a sound both familiar and alien, layered with voices that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once.

Under the Cover of Darkness

Under the Cover of Darkness

Just as I decided to go home and sulk over a bottle of whisky the moonlight caught something silvery on the sand which in turn caught my attention. I turned on my phone torch and bent to examine whatever it was. Sand covered most of it probably when Butterfly drove off so I had to dig it out. When I did I saw it was a decorated gold-and-black card probably the size of an ID that was an invitation to the opening of a club called Ecstasy!. I recognized it immediately because — Christ, what was her name again? — well, my newest conquest was ranting and raving about it before she started ranting and raving about me.

Dream Dominant Collection

Dream Dominant Collection

When the tears dried up, she curled into a ball and found herself in a sort of twilight not unlike subspace, but rather than feeling safe, she simply felt empty. Eventually, disoriented and having no idea of the time, Jessi headed downstairs to the kitchen. The clock on the microwave blinked 2:34. Must be a.m. It's dark outside, she thought vaguely. Checking the fridge, she saw that it was still half full of casseroles she couldn't bear to uncover, let alone try to eat, so she closed the door and headed to the liquor cabinet in the dining room, choosing the first bottle her hand touched. It happened to be a half-empty bottle of Jack Daniels. Uncapping the whiskey, she took a long pull an

The Darkness Between Us

The Darkness Between Us

BRIELLA. The moment Cassie and I stepped into the gathering hall, every instinct I possessed screamed at me to turn around and leave. It was almost unrecognizable here. The familiar packhouse gathering hall had been transformed into something beautiful. Soft ivory fabric cascaded from the exposed wooden beams overhead, creating elegant drapes that seemed to float beneath the ceiling. Thousands of tiny lights wove through garlands of greenery, casting a warm golden glow over everything they touched. Candles flickered from the center of each table, their light dancing across polished glass and silver accents.

The CEO'S dirty little secret

The CEO'S dirty little secret

The air in the Sterling mansion was thick with the scent of pine and impending ruin. In the dim, amber glow of the lounge, the trap Liam had set was snapping shut with lethal precision. The drug—a fast-acting, disinhibiting sedative—had fully taken hold of Jessica. Her usual mask of icy perfection had melted away, replaced by a reckless, glazed-eyed hunger.

Claimed By The Big Bad Alpha

Claimed By The Big Bad Alpha

Her silver eyes flickered with something unreadable as she stared at Jessica. And then, she whispered, “He’s keeping her.” Tristan’s chest tightened. His wolf snapped its jaws, seething with uncontained fury. He had known it. The stranger wasn’t just haunting her nightmares anymore. He was holding her there. _______ Jessica Lewis Darkness pressed in from all sides, thick and suffocating. Pain throbbed through my body in violent waves, each one worse than the last. My back was on fire, my wrists raw from the iron shackles cutting into my skin. Every breath felt like a battle, the taste of blood sharp on my tongue.

Claimed by my Rejected Mate: Sold to the Brutal Alpha

Something that tasted of ancient ice and forgotten promises, drifting in from the deep pines. As the light in the cabin window flickered and died behind me, a cold realization settled in my gut. By trying to keep Jessica in the dark, I had left the door wide open for something far worse than a jilted Alpha to walk in.

The black mist took over the whole place like it was fighting for something or against some force. “Let me out, Zane!” Kingston roared and paced restlessly. Just as I was about to allow Kingston out, I spotted Jessica through the black mist. She was coughing and it was as if she was being strangled by something I could not see. Where had she been in Sheila’s memory to attract the dark force to her? But then, I saw it too. It was a passage and Jessica was stuck in it. As soon as I wanted to catch hold of Jessica, I saw her under attack by the residual dark forces.

I am loving this story. Hooked! Please update soon. Jessica is a special wolf. Her real parents are both dead now. I hope they brutally killed Ralph for murdering his mate Cassandra and kidnapping Tessa. I’m glad Jessica is a powerful wolf. Hopefully Jess and Zane are second chance mates.

May I ask what is going on in your life, dear author, that has each chapter update so inconsistent and far between? I really enjoy this book, however, it does get frustrating having to wait for so long until I can see the next chapter. Really great book otherwise.

The Art of Jessica Jane

The Art of Jessica Jane

Then a sound echoed somewhere behind her. A footstep. Distinct. Unmistakable. Not imagination. Not an old building settling. A footstep. Jessica spun around. The corridor beyond the doorway stretched into darkness. Empty. At least at first glance. Then she saw it. A figure. Standing at the far end. Half hidden in shadow. Watching. For a moment neither moved. Neither spoke. The distance made identification impossible. Yet deep down she already knew. She knew before the figure stepped forward. Before the light caught his face.
