Painting the Canvas with Love

Painting the Canvas with Love

“If he was a painter he should have had any kind of painting equipment right? But-” One after the other as they really did check all around the house they didn't really find any one of it. Making it seems as if he really never painted at all, but just the painting that was his handing in his wall. "There was no painting equipment at all in there how can I miss that?" running the fingers through his hair. Making him remember what Ren just said a moment ago that nothing really matters anymore. "The famous painter Watanabe Takeshi was found dead in his own house that was blown up due to the gas leakage"

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

Ashton scoffs, raking a hand through his already messy hair. “There are two safes in this house, one in my office, and the other behind one of the oil paintings along the hallway. We’ll have to crack the code or risk more deaths.” There’s a pause. “Two weeks is too long for us to wait.” There’s a silent murmur of agreement. Even though I’m still somewhat pissed at Dominic, I know there’s no other way around it. The oil painting in question is a portrait of Dominic’s late father, almost floor-length and wide enough to pass for a window. Ashton and Dominic lift it from its hook and place it on the floor, and the cracking begins.

Torn Between my Alpha Mates

Torn Between my Alpha Mates

His voice dropped to a whisper only I could hear, "Once again, that damned house…" His confirmation sent a chill down my spine, a visceral connection forming between the tragedies that had occurred in that very house. Cam and Gustav exchanged a somber glance, the weight of their own losses evident in their eyes. That house… it was a place of darkness, a place tainted by the specter of death, and it beckoned us now with its sinister allure. "You've been drawn to that house," Lady Athena was talking to me now, her words carrying a sense of knowing. "The demon's influence, its desire to claim your soul and your child's, has likely been luring you there."

Mummy, let's go to daddy!

Mummy, let's go to daddy!

He was hacking the resort’s system to find the list of guests that had visited and left the place in the last three months. Going through the lists, Lisa wasn’t on it; rather, Taylor Smith came around five days ago and left three days ago, while Cullen Walkers arrived after Taylor left. Asher looked for their residence and found that both of them use the same residence. Asher’s lips raised into a smirk. He changed the window and a black background with a series of codes appeared on his screen. The houses built on the island had strange shapes. Some were made into shapes of sea animals, and others were made into shapes of fruits that could be found on the island. Asher resides In a shark–like

Viscious

Viscious

From selling the house I could at least put that money back for hard times, and be free of the burden of this once charming cottage. I wipe my sweaty palms on my leggings, and roll my sweater sleeves up. I was hoping that Creature's company, as well as the cool window air would ease my nervous sweats, but no such luck. I'll show up with rings under my arms to rival Saturn's. Great. Creature barks and flattens his ears as we make the turn to go up the road where we lived for a bit. We pass by where Trevor's house sat, the one Kellan had used. It was condemned and removed after investigation was over. It was far too burnt to really find anything useful. We even pass the ditch where Sasha was s

My Husband Is A Chaebol? (My Husband Is A Rich Man?)

My Husband Is A Chaebol? (My Husband Is A Rich Man?)

With what he said, he seemed to have convinced the girl too, but there was still fear and trepidation in his heart. As the two of them walked to his room, he looked around the house. Because the materials used to kill people in that house are old and only antique items can be found inside. Matt's childhood photos are also displayed in the ding-ding. That's why the smile on the girl's lips protruded a little.

I Spent a Night in a Serial Killer's House

I Spent a Night in a Serial Killer's House

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The killer was unbelievably strong. Just three swings were enough to smash the old wardrobe apart. However, behind the shattered doors, there was no one. The moment he realized I wasn't there, he erupted in frustration and began hammering wildly at everything around him. Chunks of plaster crumbled from the walls and shattered across the floor. I wasn't stupid. That wardrobe was the most obvious hiding spot in the room. There was no way I would have chosen it.

Don't Rent A House Where Someone Died

Don't Rent A House Where Someone Died

I was puzzled, but then, I heard faint gasps from within. “Help…” That was a woman’s voice! Was she really in trouble? My mind went blank for a moment. Gritting my teeth, I pushed open the door and went in to check. Right in front of me was a black and white photo. It was a memorial photo. The door to the bedroom was locked, but I saw a key in the keyhole. I opened the door, and a foul stench of blood immediately attacked my senses. I felt sick and flipped the switch to turn on the lights.

The Runaway Breeder

The Runaway Breeder

I need my mate. “Sure, sounds like a good idea.” He answers, carrying me up the stairs and into our bedroom past our comfy bed and to the bathroom, where he sets me down on the marble counter with a chaste kiss. Turning away from me to start the shower, I watch Tate’s body move to complete the task. I drop the blanket from around me and carefully remove the long sleeve shirt from my body, watching as Tate also removes his blood-soaked clothing. I will ask him to have everything covered in blood taken away later and burned, not wanting any memories of Pine Paw left in our home. Tate turns to face me, a smile on his face after checking the temperature of the water. “Come here, baby.” He whispe

THE Assassin's Temptation: The Confradia Assassins II

THE Assassin's Temptation: The Confradia Assassins II

Turning my car toward their home, I prepare to give the intruders a lesson that they will never forget. It doesn’t take me long to get to my mother’s home. She lives in a nice, quiet neighborhood aligned with several townhomes. She and Tate bought the house together after they got married. She loves the area. Pulling my gun out of its holster, I check the magazine and place it in behind the band of my dress slacks. The house seems undisturbed. I look through the front window, but I don’t see any sign of life. And there’s no sign of force on the front door or the windows either.

This book was well written. It has an exciting story and well-built characters. I can’t find book 1 of this series, but this book gave enough background info that it worked as the first read in the series.
