I put a hand on my hip and watch as she taps a finger on her chin, thinking. Suddenly, her eyes light up. She knows what she wants. “A hamburger with French fries, please. And chocolate ice cream for dessert. Yummy.” “You sure do have a very sophisticated palate, my girl. Alright then. Let’s get started.” It takes almost two hours for us to cook dinner together. Lena offers to help, and so does the other maids, but every time they step into the kitchen, Tati grabs a scapula and chases them out. If they try to grab a potato or anything else, she runs away yelling “Eet ees mine!”

But a dinner party with just she and her friends didn't sound bad at all. "Okay, okay. Maybe we'd discuss it another time before Friday so we can get plans underway," Aida says as she carefully retreats. Madeline bobs and walks off too into the kitchen. She noisily pours another cup of orange juice into her cup and opens the fridge looking for dinner leftovers she could microwave. She missed dinner time after all last night. She kept her face hidden with all the cosmetics she covered it. The only time she was seen without her make-up was when she applied facial mask. “Aunt Caroline? What’s got you all fired up?” Yet inside Ellaine’s head she was still thinking about the empty town and the huge tree. “You were having a bad dream!”

I woke, hours later, to Kitty screaming and crying in her sleep. "It's okay. I'm here. It's me, Craig. You're safe." I said, pulling her close so she can see my face. She woke up and looked at me in the dark. "Craig?" she asked as my door crashed open to reveal Dad and Clay standing there with Mom behind them. "Everything is fine. She just had a nightmare." I told them. Dad and Mom looked relieved but Clay looked pissed. "I'm so sorry." Kitty said through her tears.

I knew she had been looking for me; it was so obvious. Now I understood what Exalia had been complaining about. Exalia’s jealousy made sense. “Well, you found me,” I grinned. “I really advise you to get breakfast; you don’t look too physically fit.” Tatiana sighed again and replied, “Okay, if you say so, I’ll go to the kitchen and ask them to prepare a meal for me.” I nodded, hoping she would go to the kitchen right away, and she did. But suddenly, she turned back and called my name.

-TATIANA- Tatiana was destroying the bedroom. Drawers hung open, clothes scattered across the floor like she was searching for something that might magically appear if she just kept tearing through everything. The broken lamp base she tried to cave my skull in with earlier skidded across the hardwood when she kicked it. She was breathing hard, hair sticking to her neck, eyes scanning every corner. There was nothing she could use on me or on herself. I had Dmitri make sure of it.

Thus, he went back to his room. In fact, Tianna was really frightened. She didn't think that much about it. After washing up, she laid on the big bed and didn't dare to close her eyes.
