Tears welled up in my eyes, blurring my vision as I stumbled towards the couch, my legs buckling beneath the weight of my sorrow. I sank onto the soft cushions, burying my face in my hands, as silent sobs wracked my body. It was an outpouring of pain, an unfiltered release of the anguish that had consumed me for far too long. The tears flowed freely, staining my cheeks with their salty remnants as my heart cried out in the silence of my apartment.

It's as if he can see the pain in my eyes and knows exactly what I'm going through. "Bella," He sighs, and it's like he just turned on the faucet for my tears. The emotions well up within me, and I can't hold back the flood of tears that stream down my cheeks. So terrible.

“Please.” I lowered my gaze, tears gathering in my eyes, but this time they weren’t from pain. They were from something far more dangerous, hope.
