Teary Eyed With Blurred Vision Novels & Stories

Try as I might, but I only hear a slur of sounds. A bright light suddenly flashed in my eyes causing me to quickly shut my eyes in pain. Tears welled up and dripped down the sides of my face. What was that? When the pain subsides I slowly open my eyes again. I can see everything clearly now. There isn’t a haze over my eyes, but I wish there was. The first thing I see is some sort of organic orb floating over my head shining a light down on me.

I felt that they had removed something from me that caused my breathing to improve and I felt in my eyes that I was being checked because she touched it. “D-doc, why can't I see? Why the darkness is all I can see? ” I stammered and had a hard time asking the doctor. I even heard her deep breathing then said, “Ms. De Vega, because of the trauma you experienced you were blinded ... ” And there it was as if I was deaf, my heart was slowly breaking with what I heard, I did not realize that I was crying. So someone touched my face and wiped away my tears. Why am I experiencing this? Does this mean I can no longer see?

Over and over again. I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes, and before I knew it, tears rolled down, wetting my cheeks. Hiccups seized my lungs as more tears brimmed on my eyes, that my vision got blurry. I was crying. I have never cried in my entire life; I couldn't! But here I am now.

My vision blurred instantly, tears gathering before I could stop them, my breath breaking as hope and fear crashed together inside me. The belief that I’ll see her again after all these years? Unbelievable.

7 years ago "Doctor what happened to her?" I heard my mother's soft voice. "She has Retinitis Pigmentosa." I heard, what I assumed, the doctor "W-What is that?" My mother's trembling voice asked as I felt her hand grip mine. Something was wrong with me. Everything was black. I know for sure my eyes were open but I can't seem to see anything. I heard someone sigh. "M-mom, I cannot. I cannot see." I said as I tried to sit up but someone pushed me down. "Please settle down, honey while I talk to the doctor." My mother said.

My bottom lip wobbled pitifully, in an attempt to stave away the unshed tears brimming up in my eyes, but it was only a matter of time before it flooded out and came pouring down like a dam. And it did. Fat blobs of tears dropped down from my eyes onto my dress, before I could even process it. My vision turned blurry and my eyes felt hot and heavy. In a matter of minutes, I broke out into a loud and heart-wrenching sob.

I sat inside my car and drove away. Tears are streaming down my eyes. I really don't know what to do. I never expected something like this will happen. I need to stop the car since i can't drive with blurry vision. I can't believe this is happening to me. My peaceful and happy life is turned upside down just in few minutes.

My breathing increases, my chest tightens. I stumble on my feet as memories flash before my eyes. I suck in my breath. Tears gathered in my eyes. It trails down after my blinking. My sight gets blurry and I hit the ground.

Tears flowed from his eyes as he cried, both inwardly and outwardly. Lauren's eyes fluttered open. Her gaze was unfocused and blank.

My vision is getting blurry and I close my eyes for a few seconds. “Jude, baby, what is going on?” I can hear Bonnie’s voice in the background, but I can’t even open my eyes. My head hurts so much that I feel like I am going to throw up.
