Teasing Synonym Novels & Stories

I greeted the lady who hugged me too. "Don't call me that name in my beloved presence." Theo glared playfully. "Are you all over her? How about you share how aggressive you were in school when people didn't call you T-man?" His friend teased, smiling at me. "That's gross, bro. It makes my skin crawl" Theo scrunched his lips in disgust, and we all busted out in a hearty laughter at his reaction. "You guys escaped here without the kids?" Theo suspiciously twitched his eyes at them.

I yelled feeling my face turning red. "Pissed from what?" I could feel the teasing in the tone of his voice that made my blood boil. "Okay, fine. I'll leave now, calm down. You looked like a killjoy tomato, right now." I frowned. "A kill joy what?" "Yeah, your face was just so red as a tomato." He teased. "Do you want me to literally kill your joy, huh?" I sarcastically asked as I waved the knife I was holding in front of him. He was slightly taken aback and gulped when he seemed to immediately get what I meant by the thought of me killing his joy.

I didn't respond, just went silent. "Why are you being shy again? Are you sure you're not a turtle?" Soren teased. Unable to stop myself, I muttered, "You've called me silly goose and scaredy cat before, and now you're calling me a turtle. What's next? Anyway, can you stop giving me nicknames?" "Hmm, let's see… An ostrich would be a fitting nickname too," he teased. "No way!" Our conversation was getting more and more childish, and I was cringing hard.

I teased, using one of the lines from the movie that I knew word for word. His eyes widened and he shook his head in mock disapproval. “Must you ruin all of my fantasies?” “I ruin your fantasies? Or are you just annoyed because I haven’t made any of them come true yet?” I teased, trying to look sexy as I raised one eyebrow, going for the cocky, teasing face that he did to me all the time. His hold on me tightened. “Yet?” I nodded and inched my face closer to his. “Mmm hmm, yet being the right word, Officer Roger,” I whispered, biting his bottom lip softly.

"Don't be like that, okay? Zain is already a big boy, right? He should play or study together with Zennita. What is Miss Tea teaching at school? Zain can teach Zennita, you know." Zain still hasn't removed the pout from his lips. Meanwhile, my youngest daughter keeps inching behind my back. Her grumbling still sounds annoyed. Yeah, teasing can be quite annoying. But Zain is not easy to reason with. It seems teasing his little sister has become one of Zain's hobbies.

Nathan quipped again, still with the same teasing smile. If Nathan's words were directed at people who don't know him closely or know his character, they might think Nathan's words were an attack to deter the person he was talking to. Unfortunately, even though Erick initially felt the same way, now the man knew that the intention of what Nathan had just said was just to tease him, not to make the person he was talking to scared and not talk to the man about the same thing.

I can communicate entire sentences with these babies. “Okay, last choice before I retire from this lame job.” Teagan shakes a pair of Jimmy Choo knock-offs at me. “Calf busters. Thigh flexers. Butt lifters. You cannot go wrong with these suckers.” I snag them out of her hand. “You must be high. How am I supposed to twerk it out with those on?” Teagan rolls her eyes. “What … you’re going to start licking sledgehammers now, too? Shall I get the foam finger from your dad’s closet?”

“She wants to make me feel small, to make sure no one takes me seriously.” “Well, don’t just sit there and take it!” Tessy said, sitting next to her and leaning in, her eyes lighting up with ideas. “You can fight fire with fire, you know! There are so many ways you can get back at her. Listen first, you could start wearing Nico’s clothes around the house. His shirts, his jackets. It sends a clear message. Or, whenever he’s around, you can be extra sweet and affectionate with him, right in front of her. Hold his hand, ask him for things, make it obvious you’re comfortable there. And another thing, you could start asking questions about her business, her family, the things she’s proud of. Show

I giggled the playful bite as a way to tease him, to keep him on his toes. ‘However, I think I tease him too much.’ ***

I was nothing but a mess in front of him every single time he teased me that way. Sometimes it felt like he was a friend for me. A friend who was always around to help me out of any difficult situation. A friend who was ready to teach me everything he knew would help me in the fight. A friend who was there to cheer me up whenever I was sad or grumpy too sometimes. But then came his teasing. It was always between us. Why would he tease me? Why would he enjoy seeing my reaction and my fleshed face? I just couldn't understand. As if the smirk on his face and this mischievous glint in his eyes were not enough for him to tease me, his hand on my waist slid down on my ass cheek.
