Eliza returns with a pile of sheets and pillowcases, and she and Ash quickly get to work, stripping the bed and remaking it. The sheets had been dark-grey with a white geometric design on them. Rather masculine in a way, but it suited her aesthetic. The new ones are a dark orange red, almost rust-coloured. But the duvet cover is fuzzy, like a fleece, but with squares shaved into it at regular intervals. The sheets matched the colour, but the pillowcases were all like the duvet.

Dozens of them—each one unique, from vintage classics to modern F1 models, all placed like treasures from a forgotten boyhood. In the center of the room sat a grand king-size bed—massive, layered in white and gray silk sheets, with a duvet soft as clouds and pillows stacked like a fortress. At the foot of the bed was a woven bench, and beside it… a small set of folded matching pajamas. One in midnight blue for him, the other in soft peach satin for her. She blinked at the sight of it.

He grabbed my shoulder while his other hand took our towels, giving me one to cover up my junk telling me that he didn't want his guard to be distracted by my choice of swimwear. It amazes me how the cottage looked small from the outside but then opens up to a large area of an indoor pool with a wine bar, a couple of loungers, and another seating area complete with comfortable-looking sofas. By then, I had an idea of how filthy rich Ghazi was becoming in my eyes. My heart shrunk a little knowing I need not get easily comfortable around him.

The space receives weak illumination from distant neon lights that display pale reflections on the shiny wooden floors. She rests on an enormous king-size bed located low to the floor without a headboard. Black satin material on the bedding slips against her body with each faint intake of air. On the ground she finds a neutral-toned rug which matches the thick padding that allows her to bury her toes while next to her stands a small glass nightstand containing only a bottle of water together with a folded towel. Modern. Clean. A sterile atmosphere dominates the room except for a subtle scent of his presence throughout the room.

Stacey It was a large room, spacious and elegantly decorated with a large four-poster bed taking centre stage. The white linen and plush fur blanket draped over the bed created a cosy atmosphere. “And I’ll have something delivered to your room.” ** My room was grand. The bed was gigantic, bigger than anything I had ever seen in my life. It was made in a sky-blue frame, with a bundle of different colored pillows placed strategically on top of it. But the best thing of all was the thin sheets, so you wouldn’t be suffocated by the heat as easily. It had beautiful pillars in the same blue color, which had intricate patterns leading up to the sky of the bed. The canopy was filled with depictions of the sun, of grass and flowers, and everything else you could associate with summer. The bed was placed in the middle of the room, up against the left wall.

I went through the rest of the store at my own pace. Bedding—a white duvet set, high thread count, something that felt like it would actually wash well. A set of plates and bowls in a simple cream glaze. Two mugs, plain, no patterns. A wool rug for the living room in a warm grey. A few throw pillows, because the couch had none and it looked like no one had ever sat on it for pleasure. I arranged delivery for everything and was heading toward the curtain samples when I nearly walked directly into someone coming around the corner of a display shelf.

This room was different from what the throne room had looked like. Cotton, peach colored drapes covered the bland stone walls and lanterns burned brightly throughout the room. There was only a king sized, onyx platform bed. It was covered with peach, white, gold, and tan throw pillows of all shapes and sizes. A door was open to the right which looked like a huge master bathroom. This kind of custom living must’ve cost a fortune. Teris tossed me onto the bed like a person would a coat before sitting on the edge of the bed. I managed to sit up using one of my hands to keep me steady. I wasn’t sure how I was slowly regaining my strength but I was happy nonetheless.

The final door, located on the opposite side, I was unsure of. I step in slowly, a large bed pushed back to the far wall, covered in silky cream sheets and white pillows to match the drapes. In all, it was beautiful. On one side of the room stands a rack of dresses hanging, and two garment bags lay on the bed with shoes at the foot of the bed. “I would have recommended a soothing bath but we really don’t have time for that, how about a hot shower dear?” She asked turning to me. I simply nodded.

It's different, grander, than the one I looked at on the website. The balcony larger, an entire living room area before you reach the huge bed. I can’t help but swallow at the sight of the bed. The one in the pictures was a wooden headboard. This one has poles that reach the ceiling, wrapped in black leather. It somehow seems this bed was quite purposely chosen. I almost expect to see some handcuffs hanging from them. Honestly, I'd wondered if I would walk in and see whips, rope, shit even some knives on the comforter, but there's nothing. Just an extremely fluffy looking black comforter, asking me if I'll be naked on it tonight.
