Templar Knights Code Novels & Stories

GABRIEL I’m standing in the heart of the ancient, forsaken temple, my silver holy sword gripped tightly in my right hand. Torchlight flickers across the crumbling stone walls, casting long shadows that seem to writhe with unholy life. I am Sir Gabriel Voss, holy knight of the Order of the Eternal Light, sworn to purge demonic corruption wherever it festers. The village elders sent me here to seal this cursed place, but the moment I crossed the threshold, something changed.

There are three types of Knights in the association: (1) the High Knights who were the ones closest to the royal family of the Laera Kingdom; (2) the warriors, the Knights who received missions from the High Knights through the Head of the Knights Association, and; (3) the mentors, who mold the Knights for three years into strong, capable warriors. But strangely, this one didn’t feel like the same kind of threat. “Let go of me,” she said, although it came out as a whisper. The man’s breathing had changed, become erratic, like controlled chaos. Something about her had cut through the haze clouding his mind. Roman Knight had locked himself in this room minutes earlier. He had recognized the drug almost immediately, laughing at the mere foolishness of it. Firstly, that a mere drug could ever leave him a slave to his body, and secondly, that they were dead come morning. But the unnatural heat in his blood, and the fog in his mind that this person occupied told a different story.

"You are my Anchor. I need you to touch me. I need stabilization now. Or I shift fully. I will kill the mercenaries. Then I will kill you." The choice was raw. If I touched him, I risked contamination. If I refused, I risked immediate, feral death. "Tell me the code," I demanded. "The Thorne global safe word." Rian hesitated. "Unnecessary." "Now," I pressed. "Or I scream for the mercenaries." Rian closed his eyes. He released a shuddering breath. He was fighting the shift. "It is Tantalus," he grated out. "Thorne code.
