Aqua lifted her head as soon as she sensed my presence, her face illuminated by the soft moonlight. I ran my hands across my face, relief washing over me, but the feeling of anger quickly took root in my chest. I growled, “What the hell are you doing here, gathering some weeds? I thought you said you needed to pee, Aqua.” She flushed red and then held up the plants, shaking some sand from the roots. “These are not weeds. They're medical herbs that are good for healing wounds.” I shot her a look that said there was no way in hell I was going to let her use those plants on me. To me, she was just a little jinx given by the moon goddess to punish me for refusing to repair her dilapidated temple

To mate! "Ikaros should be able to smell that scent," the voice continued, sounding so cheerful, its emotions so pure, like a child's, yet its voice so mature, like mine. So innocent that she wouldn't understand how embarrassing it would be if Ikaros were to smell the 'want to mate' scent from me. Elsewhere, in the Luna and Alpha's suite, Xavier was sitting on his bed, still looking at that bracelet. But he quickly hid it, as soon as he felt the water in the bathroom was shut off, then Astraea came out, wearing a very sexy robe. She made Xavier completely lose his mind, while she was standing at the bathroom door, clutching her arm, trying to lengthen the dress a little. "Fuck you, Estera." She said, trying to cover up a few of her charms, which were quite visible

Xen called later, right after Vera stepped out of the shower covered only in a towel. Her wet hair hung loose around her shoulders, dripping slowly over her skin, and the towel sat low enough that her chest was almost fully exposed. When the hologram opened, Xen went still. His throat moved as he swallowed, and for a moment, all the controlled general energy he carried cracked right through the middle. He tried to keep his face calm, but his eyes betrayed him before his mouth could. Vera saw it immediately and almost smiled.

There was a chill to the air that sept over her skin like a sweet caress and it brought back the bittersweet memory of her walks through woods during her childhood.
