Scarlet has returned to her old pack, broken, haunted by nightmares, and desperate to rebuild her life. Alpha Roman has also returned to the pack for revenge and retribution for the murder of his sister. Scarlet had to deal with a lot of terrible things happening in and around her life, but the last thing she could deal with was a matebond that wasn't properly severed.
