I wondered. I walked slowly towards the window with my arms wrapped around me. I grabbed the window handles to pull them back to close it but I stopped midway when I noticed the lights next door. Who could that be? The house beside us was empty for over a year. I squinted and could actually see the inside of the room through the window adjoining mine. Like seriously, I could strangle the guy who constructed these houses like that. So damn close! Anyway, we finally got some new neighbours. What an odd time to move in though, I couldn't help but think. I just hope they would be nice. My parents could have some pals.

Before we can go in, another voice interrupts us. It's Francis's. "Wait! Who is this and what is he doing with my sister?" He crosses his arms and stands in front of Christopher. I let out a frustrated sigh and narrow my eyes at him, but he doesn't look at me. Francis has always been a total drama queen, and I know it becomes frustrating to deal with him sometimes. I look back at Christopher again with pleading eyes. He still looks pretty cool with everything. I just hope he doesn't think I have a bunch of crazies in my family.

I'd called Sylvester and he assured me that whoever it was had already fallen into their trap. "Nathan," A new voice suddenly stopped me on my way to my car. It was Francis, another cousin of mine and Alicia's lawyer. "Hi," I replied hurriedly, not wanting to engage in any conversation with him because I needed to be somewhere more important. I was never close enough to Francis to hold a conversation with him. Yes, I saw him at several events with family but I just never took an interest in him. Heck, I never took an interest in any family members. They all piss me off for known reasons.

I smack him and frown at him. "How's your day?" "Fine," I told him coldly. "Don't be so cold, dear." "Maybe your friends are hungry," I said. "I'm hungry!" Francis said. "I never got a chance to eat well because of a horny group of females." I laughed at his good sense of humor.

I hope I have a purpose here and even if I have to wait a long time to fulfill my dream, I hope I can make it happen. Suddenly, my phone rang. It was our neighbor’s number, which means my sibling is calling when this number calls. “Hello, Ate Faye?” I wiped my face and coughed softly to hide that I was crying. “Francis! How are you? Has Mama taken her medicine and eaten?” I let go of the clothes and stood up. “And you? Have you eaten?”

I couldn't understand why my friend said the man looked familiar, but then I realized it was Joe, my neighbor and Lesley's husband. Sometimes we would travel together, and I would post our group pictures online, so it wasn't surprising that my friend recognized him. Seeing the way they acted around each other, it didn't seem like they had only just gotten close the night before. When did it all start? After they left, I got out of the car and installed surveillance at home, then checked the trash in the bedroom. My fist tightened in anger when I saw what was in there.

Most people might feel embarrassed by having their neighbor turn up in the night to ask them to quiet down, but he didn't let it stop him one bit. My only remaining option was to call my mom and vent. "The house is fine Mommy, but my neighbor's a satyriasis." There was confused silence from the other end of the line. "Your neighbor's a what, sweetie?" "He's like a rabbit. I can hear him going at it from dusk till dawn. My nerves are shredded. If you don't believe me, come listen for yourself." I made sure to sound despondent. In truth, I'd been wanting to redecorate for a while and this seemed like the perfect excuse.

“How dare you even show your face here again after the stunt you pulled the last time?” Zeke’s hand gripped his shirt, twisting the fabric tight against his chest. “Trust me, I'm going to make you truly wish you never laid eyes on me if you don’t tell me where the hell Millie is.” Francis scoffed. “I haven’t seen that bitch since you dragged her out of our house.” The words had barely left his mouth before Zeke’s fist collided with his gut, sending a rush of air from Francis’s lungs as he doubled over in pain.

He did not expect to be experiencing this when he left his house, and if he had known that things like this would occur to Beatrice, then he wouldn't have sent her to talk things out with them. “That's a compliment that I like hearing,” Violet sneered, rubbing her hand on her knee, which throbbed with so much pain. Francis didn't reply to her; instead, he took out his phone and dialed the one number that could bring results. He felt bad having to call him for help, but then it was he who had asked him to do this. “Hey pal, how are you doing?” he said casually, his left hand covering his mouth as he yawned. His friend's background was noisy, so he could barely hear what he was saying.

"What are you?" "I am coming after you, Thorne," Francis shouted in the same booming voice as a smirk began to form on his face. "I will behead your head from your body if you do not leave and never return." Leave and never return? What was the guy talking about? "What do you want from me?" Edward shouted in anger. "Why do you need me out of my win manor?" Francis didn't reply him but instead began to laugh in his deep voice as the wind began to grown stronger.
