The Alpha Contract Novels & Stories

The wine from the banquet was making my head heavy and foggy. I called for Carl. "Get me a hangover potion." Usually, Eva would prepare it without needing to be asked. She'd also bring me a few sweet fruits to mask the bitter aftertaste. Carl rushed off, only to return looking troubled. "I'm sorry, Alpha Nick. We're out of hangover potions. Luna Eva always handled this. I'll go buy some right away." I waved him off, feeling even more annoyed. When the potion finally arrived, I downed it and nearly threw it all back up.

“And why is that?” I stood and walked towards the screen. “Because everyone has been arguing over the main contract.” I held up another document. “But this case isn’t actually about the main contract.” The room fell silent. “It starts here.” I pointed to a small paragraph. “This supplementary agreement states that any future Alpha automatically inherits commercial obligations unless they formally reject them within thirty days.” Several lawyers immediately began flipping through their own copies. I continued. “The new Alpha never rejected the agreement so legally he accepted it.”

“Like today. You were so determined to injure Ryan even while Alpha Dixon was there. Alpha Dixon could have easily not approved of us, thereby defeating the reason for this contract, which was a condition for you acquiring the Alpha position of the Moonridge Pack, right?” “And what are you trying to get at?” “I need to protect myself, Alpha Xavier. In cases where the recklessness comes from you and the contract is abruptly terminated, then I’ll still receive my full compensation,” I muttered. “The contract has been signed already. It can’t be adjusted,” he replied. “Even wills get adjusted,” I retorted. A soft chuckle escaped his lips, making me stare at him in confusion. “What’s funny?” “Yo

"No." Miss Blythe was taken aback by Alpha's response, but he turned to Beta Algie. "Maybe next time. My cousin is here, and I think we have something important to talk about." Miss Blythe opened her mouth to speak about her realization regarding Beta, but Alpha continued, "Sophia?" Even though he didn't look directly at me, it was clear that he was calling my attention. "S-Sir?" I responded with a bow. "Give me the contract."

The words landed differently than I expected. An Alpha Pact was not a handshake. It was not a promise, not in any sense that the word carried in ordinary usage. It was an ancient rite threaded back to the founding wolf, the first of their kind, the original blood from which every Alpha line descended, and it had teeth. Real teeth. Breaking an Alpha Pact did not simply dissolve the agreement. It unraveled the wolf who had made it, slowly and without mercy, until there was nothing left but the echo of what they had sworn and failed to keep.

He greeted me with a smile hanging on his face I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't even realize when he came in. "I'm doing fine." I returned. "Today, I am going to make you my Luna and be crowned the Alpha of the pack too and we will rule together." He smiled. He pushed a contract paper over to me and I read through it. It was the pack shifting contract. I has signed a a part of it before but this was going to conclude it all and there was no going back. But I certainly did not care.

“The affiliation with Green Howling Pack never happened, the Alpha's death was just used as a pawn for cover-up as resources from the company kept going to the wrong account and company in disguise of the name behind Green Howling Pack.” Isabella slammed the table and got up, her red-painted nails pointing sharply at me in rage and I flinched for a second before regaining my composure. “This is barbaric, Green Howling Pack was signed by the Alpha by himself!” She yelled and the other nodded. “The Alpha ignorantly signed what he wasn't aware of, the majority of the resources that were supposed to be sent to Green Howling were sent to Brick Cables in Midnight Shade!” I fired and her skin turne

“The last part of the contract has been signed with the Blood Moon Pack. Alpha Damon wishes to meet you at the pack's party tomorrow in order to inquire about some information. He sent this along with the message.” I couldn't believe it. What I had worked so hard for was finally becoming a reality, but the sad thing was that I was no longer Alpha of my pack. Liam was, and if everything goes as planned, Liam would be the one benefitting instead. I had to meet up with Alpha Damon if that meant me going to the pack's party too. I collected the envelope from Luke and forced on a smile, “Would you like to be my date at the party, and Luke?”

I had already accepted these changes as part of who we were becoming—part of us growing stronger together. After our conversation, we called Uncle Riley and told him about the side contract. We sent him a copy of it, and he promised that today, he would ask Uncle Jacob to validate it with the Alphas who signed it as witnesses. These former Alphas were still part of the Council, and they were expected to attend a meeting today. The only downside was that they could lie, and no one would know the truth because, as Zach said, all of them in that room when he signed the contract were Alphas. And Alphas could not be commanded to tell the truth.

“Sit.” “I’m not here for tea and pleasantries, Alpha,” I said, folding my arms across my chest. “Say what you need to say.” A muscle in his jaw twitched, but he didn’t push back. Instead, he reached for a thick envelope sitting on the desk and slid it toward me. “What’s this?” I asked, not touching it. “A contract,” he said plainly. “Our terms. The mating bond. Your role and my expectations.” I let out a sharp, humourless laugh. “Of course you have a contract. Gods forbid anything in your life be based on trust or respect.”
