Yet how could I manage that, when Moon was with Jason, Beta was somewhere else in this mansion, and King had his own secret? Atrocious replied, rubbing an orb on the armrest of his chair. "Reveal? What do you have to reveal?" Draco raised an eyebrow, realizing that it must be serious if Atrocious was acting this way. Atrocious was never one to think or worry so much about anything and when he does, it meant it was something to be taken very seriously. Atrocious sighed heavily, picked up the orb, and muttered a spell. The orb became surrounded by a mist of emerald color, and an obscure figure appeared within it. "It's a curse. Your brother, the Alpha King, is cursed."

Something shifted violently across Kael's face, the calm draining away, replaced by something dark and furious. His voice dropped low, almost a growl. "I am Alpha Kael. The first among my kind, and the mightiest of them all. I do not fall in love with anyone. I will not fall for love under any circumstance, and I shall never fall in love! Remember that, and find your peace in it." He clapped Lucas once on the shoulder, and walked away without another word.
