If only they knew that my mate rejected me. "Hey Vee, where have you been hiding, you lazy ass" It was Aurora's tiny voice. I could hear her giggling as she walked up to me. I quickly dried up the tears on my face and took in three deep breaths before turning around to face my friend. A huge smile was plastered on my face, concealing the redness of my eyes. "Aurora, how's the preparation coming through?" I smiled as I hugged her warmly. Aurora and Jenna are beta werewolves. We've been friends since childhood and were almost inseparable. I loved my friends so much and told them everything but how do I tell them that my mate is the future alpha of the pack and he has rejected me?

"That was why I asked you to reject her and mark Sophie as your mate. We need a wolf like Sophie to finally get back the pure white wolf of the pack, not a weak human." Alex stood up from the chair. He knew that his mother was definitely up to something. "It seems that you don't understand what I told you the last time. I'm the Alpha, and I can never reject my fated mate, no matter what anyone says." He said with a frustrated sigh before continuing. "You can organize any ceremony you want for Sophie, but remember she's not my mate, which makes that human girl the rightful Luna." He said and walked out of the house without waiting for his mother to talk.

“Indeed. My daughter and your son, Lancelot, are mates.” Lachlan’s eyes sparked with astonishment at the unexpected revelation. “What?” He turned his attention to Lyra. “Lancelot found his mate at last? How did you learn this? If you're aware, he should be too.” Lyra blinked and took a step closer before saying, “Alpha Lancelot is aware that I’m his mate, Alpha Lachlan. However, he ignored me and took another woman home,” she confided, her expression carrying a note of sadness.

Nash drapes one arm over me and holds me close. “You had a claiming mark,” Nash says, running a thumb over the spot near my collarbone where Caleb sank his teeth when we first mated. “I did,” I say. “You were a Luna,” Nash continues. “I was.” We’re silent for a bit, and then I speak up again. “He died. My mate. My Alpha.” Nash murmurs sympathetically, but he doesn’t say anything. I find that more comforting than if he had tried to come up with words.

His handsome face with tanned skin, and curly hair. His gaze was as sharp as a razor but his face looked very sweet and cute. He is Ace Edgar, an Alpha Werewolf from the Alaska area pack. Ace's strength could no longer be doubted, and his handsome face made him almost perfect. But unfortunately until now, at the age of 27 years old. Ace hasn't found his mate either. "Don't I have a mate? Why haven't I met my mate until now," muttered Ace with his flagship flat face.

Now looking at it closely , l could tell that it's fur wasn't black but midnight blue . I felt it brushing against my legs and l took a tentative step back but I instantly stopped when it opened up it's mouth . " Uh ! Am not going to run okay ? ",I said softly and it's tongue rolled out and went back after licking it's protruding canines from its snout . Seeing it act like that , I lost all my self preservation then relaxed my hands on it . However just as l was running soothing circles on it , it all of the sudden lifted one of its menacing paws and pushed me down . I was shocked but realization hit me when the bullet whizzed past me .

We both turned abruptly to look at who had entered the room so quietly that we hadn't noticed. It was him. The man that had murdered my entire family, my pack and everyone and everything I knew. He was standing by the door in a dark blue suit, simply looking at me. "Ye.......yes Alpha. Please forgive me Mistress." The maid bowed slightly towards me. "I wish to help the Mistress into bed and feed her." The Alpha turned to look at me again. I stared right back at him. "Please get into bed Charlotte so she can.........." "I will not." I answered sharply. He seemed taken aback by my statement. At first I wasn't so sure but it seemed he was pleased at something, he was smiling.

She took a deep breath and said, "Your father and I have wanted to mention this for a few days." Dad looked at me sternly and said, "Your mother is right. We need to talk to you about this before it's too late." This caught my attention. I wondered what was so important to talk to me about. They had explained many things early in my childhood about our lifestyle. I thought they had gone over everything by that point in my life. Mom jumped in again and spoke, "We don't want you to make a huge mistake. Being a strong Alpha means having the best possible mate. You won't be as strong without your destined love."
