The Arrangement Book Galatea Pdf Novels & Stories

Gael said, firmly dislodging his arm from her grip. Flavia’s lips curled into a sharp smile. “Gael, I don’t mind seeing the paintings one more time. I’m happy to spend the time with you. I’d love to exchange opinions with Alpha Zoriana regarding some of the artwork.” “Flavia,” Gael growled, his voice a low warning. Flavia simply met his look with wide, innocent eyes. The beauty of the gallery had been poisoned by her presence, and Zoriana had no desire to spend another second walking on eggshells.

He understood immediately why Isla had been sending him photographs of it for two months. Books from floor to ceiling. Actual ceiling, twelve feet or more. A gallery level running around the upper half. The smell of old paper and wood and something that had no name but was the smell of accumulated time. Light coming in from tall windows hitting the spines and making the gold lettering glow. He stood in the entrance for a moment. Just stood. “Yes,” Isla said. Simply. Behind him. “Yes,” he said. Zara said nothing. Just walked in slowly with her head tilted back looking at the upper shelves and the light and her face doing the thing it did when something was worth looking at properly.

I was running out of time and I was beginning to grow frustrated. "When you are forced to pick between two evils, you pick NEITHER of them and choose a third option instead". Aria was so carefree the way she said it, as she hovered close to a bookshelf. "A third option, what do you mean?" I inquired. I could see Aria pull out a book from the shelf and place it gently on the table. It was very heavy, considering how little she was but she managed by herself. "What book is this?" "It is the codex of 'GAIASANIA AND GAIAMANIA' - a compilation of the Annual records of the 14 werewolf kingdoms". Aria disclosed to me, as she magically flicked the pages of the book.

The books were similar in sizes, and has no unbalanced pattern. "Here!" Nathan shouted. "Shelf No. 21..?!" he frowned. I felt the disappointment in his voice. But why? "Does the arrangements of the Shelves were—" Ella was a bit shocked, covering her mouth. "They were arranged randomly!!" Aaron concluded, and panicked. He rapidly thrown all of the books in his chosen shelf just to find the Encyclopedia! "Oh, here!" Trixie gladly shouted. She was jumping in joy! "Encyclopedia No. 13, right?" she smiled.

And I could see the deviation. The stars weren't placed according to the Ptolemaic system or even modern astronomical charts. They were arranged in a specific, non-linear grid. I pulled out my mother’s journal and opened the back cover, where a small, transparent sheet of vellum was tucked. It was an overlay. I held the vellum up against the ceiling, my heart hammering against my ribs. When the North Star on the vellum aligned with the gilded Polaris on the ceiling, the other markings fell into place. They didn't point to stars. They pointed to satellite paths.

"My sense of scent is better than most, and I was curious when I saw you by the water. I had my suspicions, but I wanted to show mercy to my mate. The kind of mercy you haven’t shown me." He shakes his head and offers me the goblet again. "Come on, Katia. Have a sip of my wine."

She wondered what other Goddesses had been handpicked for tonight’s entertainment in the Godwin penthouse suite. The elevator required special access to open up on this level. The Head Goddess scanned her ID microchip in the scanner. The doors opened into a long black and white marble hallway. Crisp and clean, reeking of elegance and class, with its fancy mahogany end tables, fresh cut flowers, and overstuffed armchairs strategically placed near expensive art. The simulated fireplace was a nice touch. Fake flames flickered and CGI logs crackled, emitting a nice, warm heat.

Once again, I was in awe of the underworld. The archives were set up like a vast library, similar to the one Belle was obsessed with in Beauty and the Beast. The shelves started six inches off the ground and went until they reached the vaulted ceiling. Each bookcase had ten frames, and the bookcases were lined up side by side from one long wall to the next. Each shelf was lined with leather-bound books; glancing at them; I could tell they were arranged by title and publication date. The titles of the books were written in a language I couldn't decipher. Still, Samael seemed to know what he was doing as he walked to the far right corner of the library, grabbed one book, and then went to the o

And yet it was. Across from him, Gluttony stared down at the artifact now resting in his hands. The Book of Rebirth. Its cover shifted constantly between black and white, the colors moving like opposing tides colliding against one another. Faint symbols flickered across the surface, appearing and vanishing as if the book itself was still rewriting its own existence. The energy radiating from it was immense. It was balanced and at the same time unstable. Gluttony swallowed slowly. “I… don’t think this thing likes being touched,” he muttered. Tyrel, standing beside his lover Caius, glanced down at the book nervously. “Then maybe you should stop touching it.”

“No need to apologize Amber. You have important matters to attend to. I’ll let you get to it. Besides I need to have a word with the kitchen about tomorrow night’s menu.” The Head Goddess got to her feet gracefully even in stilettos and a tight, floor length gown, never stumbling or flashing her crotch. If Amber tried such a maneuver, it would have resembled a drunken crab on a sandy beach. Amber followed the other woman to her feet. It was now or never to ask about Nadia.
