Leaving You Bereft

Leaving You Bereft

"Bodies like this are a dime a dozen in the entertainment industry." Xavier looked at her intently. "Really?" She withdrew her hand and said, "Stop being so shameless around the kids." Xavier looked over and found Lynn staring at him with sparkling eyes. "Why doesn't Prince Charming have clothes and the glass slippers?" Glancing at the fairy tale, he said patiently, "That's because Cinderella took the glass slippers away." He was so thick-skinned that he actually went into the walk-in closet and searched for a pair of diamond-studded heels. Then, he took them out, went down on one knee in front of Gabriella, and slipped them onto her feet.

Never Meant to Leave

Never Meant to Leave

They did not notice a small figure crouched in the corner of the living room, covering her ears in terror. She was still wearing the dress I had never worn before—the one that had been taken back to the mall and exchanged for a smaller size. I drifted over, hugged my knees, and curled up across from her, staring at the dress on her body. It was blue, studded with rhinestones, and very beautiful as it glittered brightly. Like the dress Cinderella wore in cartoons. Daddy had promised long ago that he would buy it for me if I passed my exam.

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

When I walk back into the room the girls let out excited squeals; clapping ecstatically as Raven rushes over to help me with my zip, fastening my dress in its place. “Here you go Cinderella,” Dakota teases as she leans across the bed handing me a pair of red bottom court heels; a dazzling glitter embedded gently across the leather sides, a subtle yet unique touch. After slipping my feet into the new heels we make our way downstairs as I put my shoulder cape jacket over my shoulders, hitching my dress up slightly, being careful not to step on the fabric and send myself tumbling down. When we reach the bottom step the faint flow of soft conversation breaks through the closed kitchen doors as R

How often is the update on this book? It says on the title “Trilogy”, are there 3 separate books or 3-in-1? Coz some authors include Books 1&2 on 1 book altogether before declaring it as Completed. I just want to know if this 93 chapters now is still far from being Completed and I have to wait long

Entangled With My Baby's Billionaire Father

Entangled With My Baby's Billionaire Father

I swallowed my disappointment, reminding myself that this was Cindy’s world, not mine. As Cindy glided into the ballroom, it was impossible not to notice her. She commanded attention with every step, dressed in a gown that looked like it belonged on a runway in Paris. The fabric was deep emerald green, a bold choice that somehow enhanced her natural elegance. It shimmered under the ballroom lights, catching every glint and turning her into the center of the room’s attention.

” Protecting her? The knots in her stomach loosened. That wasn’t so bad. But the means of doing it was unacceptable. Safe Word: Rosé

Safe Word: Rosé

Cindy said when she heard no movement across the curtain. Remembering just how forward Cindy could be, Cara complied. She put on the red dress. It was a simple wrap around dress, with a skater skirt, and plunged front to display a great amount of cleavage. Cara pulled the curtain back with a scowl. Cindy handed Cara the pair of red heels she had worn for the Dante meeting. Cara grabbed the heels from Cindy with an annoyed pout. "You're a bully." Cara commented. "You love me." Cindy said, booping Cara's nose.

Chasing my substitute bride

Chasing my substitute bride

I pointed to a onyx backless satin dress that had a cowl design and a high back slit. "Let me give them to you to change," Veronica winked, undressing the mannequin that had the dress on. "Go change my Cinderellas," we swooped into the dressing cabin. "This dress is a killer. I don't think I will select another one," I heard Riri say while I was changing. "You look very beautiful darling," "Thank you, just wait till you see jazz first. I believe she will look gorgeous," I almost rolled my eyes as Riri assumed her words. But she was right, I looked very beautiful in the dress.

The Ex-Wife's Revenge

The Ex-Wife's Revenge

Her lips curved into a cunning smile, confident in her ability to deceive. She chose an outfit carefully, opting for something both professional and alluring. "Just the right balance," she mused, her eyes narrowing with determination. The dress clung to her figure in all the right places, designed to captivate without being too obvious. Cindy knew the power of allure, how it could cloud a man's judgment, and she intended to use it to her advantage.

The air is thick with the mingling scents of lavender, jasmine, and the earthy perfume of freshly cut roses. Finally, my eyes fall upon the dress. It's not just a gown; it's the epitome of a fairytale brought to life. Designed to shimmer and glisten as I move, the fabric twinkles as if woven from strands of moonlight. The bodice is adorned with tiny, intricate crystals that transition into a skirt of cascading lace, as if frozen waterfalls have been captured in textile form. Cathy steps back, seemingly pleased with her artistic endeavor. "Look at you. You're Elsa—stunning, regal, and utterly captivating."

Wrong Ride, Right Lover

Wrong Ride, Right Lover

She wore a white lacey dress which made her look young and lovable. The waiters could recognize her. Before this, her dressing was much simpler and she had a little girl with her. She somehow got involved with Chairman Moore and began wearing branded items. The white lacey dress that she was wearing looked expensive. They were extremely envious of her as she was truly living the Cinderella life. Henry glanced at the waiters with his icy gaze and ordered, “Leave when you’re done.” His low, magnetic voice was cold and distant. The waiters shuddered and left in a hurry.

The book was good but I really would like if the writers could stick to the initial names given to the characters and be mindful of the his/hers/she/he/they/them and so on. Otherwise great story from start to finish.

This is one of the best book I have ever read and I highly recommend this to those who are finding good book and story. There are lots of errors though when it comes to names and other stuffs but over all the story is fascinating. Just hoping that the ending is not the common ones.
