The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

That beast Nicodra describes with such passion-the monster. I prance through the trees like bait, asking something to hunt me. Somehow his scent is all around as if he's been scouring this wood for hours already, rubbing his thick coat on the bark of each tree he passes. When I prepare to dash, a low, guttural noise warns me not to. I look over my shoulder and he's there like a ghost. He's the phantom of the forest and no one trespasses without paying the consequence.

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE

What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

Babysitting The Mafia (The Tainted With Blood Series)

Babysitting The Mafia (The Tainted With Blood Series)

Yeah, she needed to learn how to knock, and glared at him for a second before she opened her mouth to speak as I stood by the door, watching the scene before my eyes. “You hired me, to babysit a MAN?” The girl asked glaring at dad who remained calm as he looked at her. I had to fight back a laughing at her attitude, and I could bet on my life that she didn’t even know that she was standing in front of two mafia men. A don, and his son. “I never said ‘babysit’, I merely said ‘keep out of trouble’” dad answered her casually. “He is a man, he would be at least twenty-five…”

The Villainess Wants To Make Baby First, Revenge Later!

The Villainess Wants To Make Baby First, Revenge Later!

This scene was more like a celebratory festival devoted to monsters hunting for their prey. I ate the red berries Tuyul gave me while gathering energy. “Monsters! Go away!” People threw various objects at the monsters. Some used their swords to slash the monsters, but their movements were still slow so the monsters regenerated. “Help! Help us!” A mother snuggles up to protect her daughter. The two of them were cornered by several monsters that came to them in one of that houses. “Begone,” I stomped on the ground, then made a circle. Zzap! Pwak!

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

You could really have believed that she hadn't learned anything here in the last two years. From the kennel I heard the angry growl of the crane when Bay finally hit him on the short muzzle. But that didn't stop the cattle from snapping at him. That could take a while. Bored, I let my gaze slide through the small arena in the academy's basement. The grandstand had twelve rows that were drawn in a circle around the cage in the middle. Even if the whole academy would show up here, there would still be places free. There were simply not enough people who wanted to become Venators, hunters who were only there to rid the earth of the monsters of this world. Way too dangerous. The death rate on th

All Monsters Are Human

All Monsters Are Human

All I could hope for her to be happy and never come back to this place . I got up from the park bench . The early morning sun didn't help much with the cold either. I smiled at how terrified Belle was of giving her finals . She had clung on the phone call forever to find comfort .It felt good to know that the things that scared her were as simple as that. I picked up my pace to the haunted place I was forced to call home .

Fated to the Three Rogue Alpha Brothers

Fated to the Three Rogue Alpha Brothers

A perfect combination of doom if you ask me. I should be hiding under my bed, that’s what a genius would have done. That’s what Aunt Tilda always taught us. ‘Whatever they tell you about monsters is complete and utter lies. A monster will do evil and survive. A monster won’t perish just because the Goddess loves good people and she protects them from evil. Being good won’t kill the monster so next time you see one, you hear one, what do you do? That’s right, little ones, you hide. Hide!’

The Billionaire’s Baby Sitter

The Billionaire’s Baby Sitter

He placed her head on his chest, softly patting her back and trying to rock her to comfort her but she kept letting out quiet sobs and it had him worried. "What is it, Princess?" He asked her with so much concern. "I had a nightmare." She answered almost immediately. Roman frowned biting his lower lip then asked, "do you mind telling daddy what the dream was about?" Christine's head perked up, her soft eyes look at her dad's. "There was a very big, green, hairy monster. He was tall too. Christopher and I were playing around in the pool while you were working on your computer with us then sudd the big monster came from the pool and too my brother and I." She started to sob but Roman patted he

Beyond The Hallow Grave: Editingle Indie House Anthology (Ed

It sounded again, much closer this time, and was followed by a thundering of great feet. Never pass the fences... Never leave the longhouse before Dawn or after Dusk... Never forage or walk alone near the fences or in the far fields... Never go out in the moonlight... Never let the monsters bite you... There at the edge of the meadow, I saw the monster towering in the moonlight shadows of the forest. Hooves for feet, claw-shaped hands, man-like and yet not. Broken horns curled up from either side of the handsomest face I had ever seen. He grinned at me with pointed teeth. I suddenly regretted my decision to wander in the moonlight, to pass the fences, to leave the longhouse after dusk. I nev

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

" Once again he bowed his head before walked out of my room. When did that Hunter move his cabin next to me? Last time I remember his cabin was on the ground floor. Okay! Reil. Don't waste your precious time thinking about that walking stick. I slumped on the chair and went through my laptop for what seemed to hours keying different types of names as Heil, the monster with brown fur, grey-eyed monster but all the time the result redirected to the related topic, not exactly what I want. Seems I won't get what I'm looking for. Why there are no articles about the monster other than the book written by my uncle. How did he know about the monster? Their project was failed, right? By chance did th
