It dropped. Like literally. ● The amount of kids that swarm the building had me gasping for air and the decor was perfect. Heath pulled me into the house well before showing me a note "Thanks for agreeing to babysit the kids, you are the best. Remember their routines and do not forget to put them to bed, we may or may not return late. We love you, Heath" -Tiffany, Sophie, Jasmine, Bella and Eunice.

“I’ll pass.” “I didn't see that coming.” Anthony followed her. “Wait…” Anthony's brow furrowed in recognition. “Is that Tally? And Irene?” Tally and his family were at the drink section, just where Anthony and Kayla were headed. Their two-year-old twin girls with their babysitter played around the space between the section. The girls were in high spirits, overly perky. One of the girls giggled with delight as the babysitter rode her in the cart, while the other threw random things into the cart, looking to have her turn in the ride.

Toys lie scattered on the carpet like tiny landmines. The twins' babysitter, a young high schooler named Sandra, looks up from the couch where she’s scrolling on her phone. Her face brightens when she sees me. She’s slim with a bubbly smile and braces that sparkle when she speaks. Her curly hair is tied up in a ponytail, and she’s wearing a sunflower-printed dress that matches her sunny energy. “Hi, Ms. Vanya,” she greets, standing up quickly. “The boys have been great, as usual. No trouble at all.”

But right now I wasn’t at all sure how I’d contain my root. “I’ve got a Polaroid so we can take a ton of pictures you’ll be able to have go back with you,” Finch said, holding some weird looking device. I knew what an instant picture was, they had brought the machine to the Sky Light but I just didn’t fully understand it. “The bus is here,” Winnie shouted, as everyone seemed to kiss the cubs good night. Grace began giving the babysitters all kinds of directions and there was an awful lot of commotion but I simply couldn’t look away from Daphne. She keeps saying she doesn’t want to be a Queen but she is the definition of regal.

But whatever Nathaniel was trying to say, their conversation was interrupted when Alisa suddenly flashed a piece of paper between them. “What is it, baby?” Serena asked. It was a drawing of a... family. The drawing wasn’t perfect. The figures were made of uneven circles and stick limbs. Faces were little more than dots and crooked smiles. Yet everyone was holding hands, clustered close together behind a big house. There was a mom, and… a dad. In between were two youngsters, clearly representing Bastin and Ali. “Mommy, I made that too,” Sebastian said, pulling out his own drawing and flashing it to both Serena and Nathaniel. “Look, Daddy.”

“Stronger than I’ve ever seen anyone be. But B...you’re not just protecting yourself anymore.” My chest hiccupped. The sound that came out of me wasn’t quite a sob, wasn’t quite a word. “I know,” I whispered, voice cracked and raw. “And pride?” She lifted the photo between us, her thumb smoothing the crease. “Pride doesn’t feed a baby. Doesn’t pay hospital bills. Doesn’t hold your hair back when you’re throwing up at 2 a.m. Doesn’t promise a crib or a future or a single damn thing you need right now.”

I know I need to deal with all of them, but before that, there’s someone else I need to confront. I barely have to look around before I spot her standing on the steps of the porch, surrounded by a group of kids in animal onesies. Lizzy is the worst babysitter in the world. I mean, I’ve seen her literally feeding kids ice cream and chocolate like they’re three-course meals. It’s because of her that Hazel has a butterscotch addiction. And now she’s standing there, with that stupid grin on her face like she’s done nothing wrong.

My former colleague. "Really? I think the twins recommended me." I replied. "I can't believe that those mischievous twins came from the Ladon Family. " Julie said. I saw someone approaching the twins and handing some paper. "Excuse, what did you give to the twins?" I asked the lady. "I am Jessie, babysitter of this kid named Ruth. We gave an invitation to the twins for Ruth's 6th birthday." Jessie explains. "Thank you for the invitation. I will send the message to the guardian of the twins. I am Raia, the babysitter of the twins." I replied and introduced myself to Jessie.

jay say hugging me again , landing a kiss on ari forehead and then leaving the room. I sigh and turn to the little Baby, she's clutching her pikachu close to her chest and looking at me. "So what do you to do today baby" i ask her with fake enthusiasm. "Uhh...leo said he got work and ace is out. I thought i could spend the day here with you. We can just chill here" she says picking on my bad mood. "Great idea baby" i say and go to pick her up "but we need some snacks first"

he giggles as the bunny rubs his ear on his thumb. “You good?” Archie asks, even though he knew he won't be getting any answers from his pet. He runs his hand on its head and checks the cage to see its bowl is half filled with milk. “Let have your bowl fill up. Shall we?” we grin, standing on his knees. He drops the bunny beside him and decides to fill the bowl with more milk. He grabs a bottle of milk from his pet cage and pours a large quantity into the bowl. “I won't be coming here more often like before, I've gotten a babysitter and she's the last good woman on earth.” Archie beams and smiles shyly, recalling how his babysitter was treating him like a child, earlier at the dining.
