3rd January, 1999(morning) The Warehouse Lana Its a never ending circle. A repeated sequence I experience everyday, locked up in this room with little or no contact. A hollow feeling in my heart whenever I think about my family, the grief I feel whenever I remember those who died in that bloody Christmas party.

"Great." "Don't be too happy. I'll be joining an hour later.", I scowled at his remark. "But mall for what?" "Christmas shopping.", Kia shouted in excitement. "Christmas.", I mumbled. My mind went to the time when I used to decorate the tree, request Mumma for gifts and we'd cook good food together and have our time but that was till the time I had her, with her my all happiness ended. What was left were loneliness and guilt. "What do you want for this Christmas, Kia?", I asked her trying to distract my mind off all those bad times. I glanced at Mr Arnold but his eyes were in front, a large frown etched to his forehead. Grumpy butt!

When Noah Levine came back, Christmas had already passed. I'd thrown that reindeer lingerie into a street trash bin. "Babe, I left in such a rush last night that I forgot to give you your Christmas present." He pulled out a sapphire necklace and swept my hair aside to fasten it around my neck. Joy floods families, the smell of cookies and cinnamon permeates homes and every day seems to be magical and special. Or at least that's how I used to live and feel this time of year.
