Nothing worth disturbing the prince for."

She pressed her hand against it, whispering to herself, “I just need to keep moving… just reach the pack… just a little more.” The moonlight flickered through the trees, but the shadows felt alive. Every sound made her turn her head. A broken branch. A whisper of wind. The cry of an owl. Her heart pounded fast, her breath short. Then came the growl. Low. Dark. Close. Elara froze. Slowly, she turned. From the thick trees, glowing eyes shone again. More rogues. Bigger. Stronger. Their fur was black and matted, their teeth sharp and wet.

The crunch of snow under my feet only lasted a few seconds before the unmistakable noise of something breathing down my neck made my body stiffen and slam to a stop. “There yer are,” The bigger rogue hissed, its yellowed saber fangs jutting so far from its jaw that they resembled an elephant's tusks. My body shot forward before I could stop myself as I dove for the trees, whimpering when the cackle of the rogue’s haunting laughter followed me as I ran blindly. A wet, bubbling noise snapped up to my right and I twisted out of the way, the edge of my feet flipping on what was most definitely a bog before I found solid ground again.

Killian looked up at the sound of a soft hooting noise, and without thinking, he held out his arm, lifting an eyebrow when a small white owl landed delicately on it. ‘Hello.’ He said, and the owl blinked and replied, ‘The gates are open and I am your guide. Follow me and I will lead you to Merlin’s palace.’ The little bird then took off and moved swiftly, making them turn and race after him, ‘He’s a fast little bugger.’ Cerebus grinned as they swooped down toward a large expanse of fog, ‘Keep your eyes on him, this won’t be easy, that fog is thick, wrap something around your noses and mouths for protection, it looks toxic.’

But there something weird about it, I don't know but that contract is so weird and also creepy. "How I wish he can't sleep tonight" I murmured. "I hear you" my forehead creased and secretly rolled my eyes when that devil Calix spoke. "I saw it" my jaw went slack out of surprised after hearing those word knowing that I'm at the back of the carriage and there's a boundary between us. Who would see a damn bird that has glowing eyes? Arth furrowed his brows in wonder. It was no regular owl, he knew. He could sense some magical energy on the bird—it was being controlled. Why the hell would someone spy and peek at him sleeping? Unless… Arth swallowed the lump on his throat, as the wide, glowing eyes of the owl stared at him. Chills ran down through his body. He slowly picked up his Blackwinter beside him at the bed and stood up. A sudden…but faint sound occurred from the other room; a grunt of a guy… then a body dropping on the carpeted floor.

Be still and focus on seeing through the darkness. I opened my eyes. as wide as the pathway to hell. I am waiting for my pupils to dilate and get used to the darkness. Waiting was like watching grass grow because I felt I had little or no time. I was getting impatient. Just then, slowly but quietly, something was crawling on my skin. I shook my body, and then it stopped. Or at least, that was what I thought. This time, silently, it crept higher and higher, till it got to my chest. That was when I let out a heartbreaking cry. At my voice, owls, birds, and bats flew out because I had disturbed their once peaceful habitat.
