"I've been thinking about opening up an Internet café…" THE END

I noticed only the approaching, blinding light, and I closed my eyes, not wanting to witness my entry into the afterlife, if this indeed was heaven and I was truly gone. "Celeste!" I froze. My heart rate slowed. When I reopened my eyes, I was left speechless as Arik stood before me, swiftly removing the bomb strapped to my body along with the chains. I saw and heard him commanding his men to defuse the bomb outside, and I spotted the black Ford Raptor behind him, its high beams casting a brilliant glow. I wasn't dead. I was still here. "Oh, God. Fuck it!"

Seraphina stood behind him and clenched her fists in anger. Aidan slowly turned around and walked toward somewhere. The video stopped there. However, I could already predict what he was going to do. Aidan would apologize to her, and then they would reconcile and continue their disgusting relationship. After I ended the video, I sent a text message to that colleague. I thanked her and wished her all the best in her future endeavors. After three days in this foreign country, I started familiarizing myself with my surroundings. Just when I was about to head out, I received a call from an unknown number.

All of us. Together. And the future stretched ahead, bright and full of promise. Ready for whatever came next. Because we were stronger than any storm. Braver than any fear. And loved beyond measure. She quickly went back inside, feeling a sharp pain she couldn’t explain. “Babe, come on, let’s go to the bedroom and continue this. I’m a little tipsy.” Gabriel carried Jennifer to their room, laid her on the bed, and kissed her again. She responded eagerly. He took off her top and bottom, kissed her passionately, his hands and lips exploring her body until he finally entered her. They both grew exhausted and eventually fell asleep.

he said. "It's fine," I replied, not giving it a second thought. Zach got swept away by the crowd. This time, our paths would never cross again. Those dark, painful memories would stay buried forever. I was ready to start a new life. Wade picked up my suitcase, dusted it off, and asked, "Want to walk around campus later and try something good to eat?" I pinched his cheek with a smile. "Sure, Wade."

And never forget that every ending is also the beginning of something new. I cannot wait to welcome you back into this world very soon. With all my love, gratitude, and excitement for what’s ahead. I love you all. Loveday Helen

I had finally changed my fate completely in this life. As I walked out of the bureau, sunlight poured over me. It was warm and gentle. Wynnie followed behind me numbly. Just as I was about to get into a taxi, she suddenly called out, “Miles, do we still have a chance to start over?” I did not even turn around. I only replied in a cold voice, “I’m not someone who stoops to that level, so don’t humiliate yourself in front of me. From now on, we’re strangers.”

It was only when her sobs finally died down—when the silence on the other side of the door shifted from anguished to exhausted—that he allowed himself to move. He pushed off from the wall, straightened his jacket, and walked away. Not because he wanted to. But because he knew she needed rest. And because he would be back. He would always come back. --- Three Hours Later The evening had settled over the city like a velvet blanket—dark, soft, and full of shadows. Bianca had managed to drive herself home, though she barely remembered the journey. Her body had been on autopilot, navigating familiar streets and turning into her driveway without any conscious input from her exhausted mind.

he asked, drowsy. "We're going home." He smiled. "This is the beginning of the after, Isa." I smiled too. And it was. Because after everything we had been through… we were ready to start over.
