The Benjamin Button Novels & Stories

She loosened the next button then the next. A light dusting of dark hair marched across his chest. Too eager to see him she didn't explore. She kept going until the front of his shirt parted. Benjamin took over then, shrugging out of it and laying the button down across the foot of her bed. Holy...

she said as she made her way back to the house. ***** Benjamin watched the scene unfolding before him. He had initially wanted to help the chubby lady, but was surprised at her battle ability. She had actually taken five hefty men down single-handedly and was impressed by her ability. He found her moves oddly familiar before he discarded the thought. “I want all the information about her.” he said as he winded up the vehicle window and the driver started the engine. Benjamin arrived home as he headed straight to his room. He had just arrived in America after the unfortunate death of his fiancée. He moved to the dressing table as he placed his wristwatch there before his eyes darted to his fi

Madam Nolan raised her eyebrows and said, "Let him in. He is just in time for lunch." The maid nodded and brought Benjamin in. Benjamin looked shabby. Though his clothes were not old, they were wrinkled. His hair was also a mess. His appearance made him look very pitiful. The moment he saw his mother, he approached her and exclaimed, "Mother, you are finally back!" Melody snorted inwardly. Although Benjamin had gone bankrupt, he should not be in such a miserable state. The jewelry and luxury handbags he robbed from his wife, his daughter and Melody should be more than enough to let him live a lavish lifestyle.

I cleared my throat loudly. "Oh, I'm sorry. Jevan this is Ben. Ben, this is Jevan," Adobi introduced which was of a poor taste coming from her. Something wasn't right. "Hi, I'm Benjamin but everyone calls me Ben," Ben said, reaching out his hand. I shook it. Ben was an inch shorter than I was but his body-built made him look powerful. I could tell he work out. His complexion and skin reminded me of when I used to melt dark chocolate when I was a teen.

Everyone else in the room was confused and looked at Benjamin. Then, a man jumped out and said, "Are you kidding, Cheryl? A blind man could see that Benjamin has strong feelings for you! How could you choose a ‘nobody’ over Benjamin!" Some in the room nodded. "Yeah, he’s right! Benjamin is a young director of Golden Light Group. He’s worth several billion dollars. Whoever marries him can live in peace for the rest of their lives. Who is this man next to you? He is so poorly dressed as if he works at a construction site. How is he worthy of a goddess like you!"

I felt bad that maybe I gave him some hope of getting back together but I think I should make things clear once in for all and also maybe examine some facts about Ben that Aaron pointed out. “Hi, how’d you get here so fast?” I asked Benjamin as I took a seat in front of him in the café. “Coincidently, I was coming over to meet you, we had to shift my grandmother to an ICU ward so I really needed some money. But I am glad you called, it like we have a spiritual connection.” He says as he his hands reaches out for mine but I pull away before he could touch me. I hated it when he became such a cheesy romantic guy. It wasn’t really my cup of tea.

His eyes were clear and his skin was porcelain-like, which he shaved daily and used as much cream as he could manage throughout the day. He was trained in fashion and worked at a magazine. Ben was a woman who was born by accident into a man's body. It was the one that God, when he went to put it in the body, ended up getting confused and putting it in the wrong one. And my friend to fight. Although I'd been with Salma most of my life, Ben had my heart and was much wiser in advice. Once the movie was over, Ben reassured me about the illness. Hearing him speak so calmly and simply did me good.

At the same time, the guests turned to look in that direction as well. As soon as I approached the car, the car door was opened from the inside. Benjamin got out of the car in a black tuxedo. His hair and beard were carefully groomed, making him look even more handsome than usual. With a smile tracing his lips, Benjamin took my hand before sinking to one knee in front of everyone. "Angelica, I've been waiting for this day my whole life." I didn't expect that Benjamin would get here this soon. His presence touched me to the core.

The moment Jacob realized he had called out the wrong name yet again, he visibly froze. He scrambled to correct himself in panic and stared at me, hesitating for two seconds before finally squeezing out, "Anya, will you?" I could only manage a bitter, helpless smile. This was our mating ceremony. Yet, even now, the name that still slipped past Jacob's lips was "Anna". Looking at Jacob, I could see the sheer panic in his eyes. I knew he wanted to explain himself.

But as they approached the room, a sharp flick of a lighter cut through the hallway's hush. The door was slightly ajar. Through the narrow slit, Sarah caught a glimpse of a scene that felt painfully out of sync with her memories. Benjamin—refined, soft-spoken, supposedly dying of lung cancer—was calmly smoking a cigarette. Across from him, lounging on the sofa, sat his parents. Their faces were lit with smug satisfaction. Benjamin's mother, in particular, looked positively gleeful as she counted through the money Sarah had given them. "Our Benjamin’s a genius, isn’t he?" she cackled, voice dripping with malice. "Faking cancer to string along that idiot woman—a professor, no less, and she nev
