At first, after reading this file, I do not understand why the file of this method has been prepared and now this contract from above?...

Bianca asks, smiling sweetly at me but I just want to leave her at a desert. Friends can cause one’s high blood pressure to go up instantly. "Ladies," Blake calls for our attention. "My good friend here also loves what you have done in the past companies and what you will do in ours. I will contact the company's lawyer to draft up a contract. If it meets your expectations then welcome to the family."

Yes, I believe in karma, I believe I deserve that bad ending. "I don't know anyone else. And this is so last minute, I don't think I can find someone in such short notice. Pleaseeee Abs, can't you help me this one last time? It's only gonna take two hours max, I promise." Pretty sure the format of the contract is standard, it'll be more or less like the one I've signed before.

Sophie Jordan and her boyfriend, Carter Jennings, had been in a long-distance relationship for four years while studying at different universities. During the semester break, Sophie took an eight-hour train ride to North Capital University to see Carter, but he was not around. The resident advisor looked her up and down with a smile. "Are you here for Carter Jennings? He isn't here for the semester break. He won't be back for a few days." Sophie's grip on her luggage tightened. "Is there some kind of mistake? He just told me that he's in his dorm." Sophie had texted Carter just minutes ago, and he told her he was tired and wanted to take a nap in his dormitory. "I have no reason to lie.

“Then the clock keeps ticking. Thirty days. Maybe less if the bank gets impatient. You’ll fight. You’ll lose. And when it’s over you’ll still be broke, still be alone, and still wonder what it would have felt like to let someone take the weight off your shoulders.” He reached into his jacket and pulled out a slim black folder. Placed it between them. “Contract,” he said. “Read it. Every word. Ask questions. But don’t waste time pretending you have better options. You don’t.” Cami’s fingers trembled when she opened it. Pages of clean black print. Clauses. Terms. Safe words listed in bold—red for stop, yellow for slow, green for keep going. Limits she could add or remove. Medical checks. NDAs.

"Nice to meet you," Collen quickly took my hands and shook them. My hands fell limp to my side. "Is everything okay?" Hannah asked, her green eyes searching mine. "Yeah, just that um, I was about to go to bed when you came," I lied through my teeth. My heart was beating not just within my chest but I could hear it in head. This was the first time I had lied to my best friend in all our twelve years of being friends. "Oh, I was hoping you could stay up with us to watch a movie."

I can’t hurt my best friend because of my stupid feelings. “No,” I said to Andre. “Let’s be honest to our partners instead. No more lies, no more kisses, we can’t be alone for too long anymore because it’s obvious we can’t keep our hands off each other. Let today be the last time we ever get to be alone together.” My voice turned pleading, I hoped he understood, “For our friends’ sakes?” A muscle ticked in his jaw. I thought he was going to argue but he nodded reluctantly and I released a sigh of relief. “For our friends’ sakes.”

I couldn’t believe I got that tidbit of information before I even signed the contract with them. I swallowed before I turned to face them. “So, who is Blue and who’s Fred?” “I’m Fred. He’s blue,” the always teasing one said, shrugging when I raised a brow. With a nod, I returned to the file in front of me. I read a bit to know that this contract will last for two months and throughout that time, I will let them fuck me whenever they wanted. Their payment was to answer any question I might have. With a sigh, I picked up the pen, having decided. It was too late for me to reconsider, not after I boasted that I would be the one to crack this case and get an interview with the brothers.

I chuckled, the sound bubbling up from somewhere deep and genuine. I placed my hand flat on the desk between us, suddenly feeling the heaviness of what we were really doing here. "Leave the contract aside... so let us make a promise here. That no matter what happens... the three of us will be friends for life." Theo nodded immediately... with understanding. Max, surprisingly, didn't crack a joke or make a sarcastic comment. Instead, he placed his palm over my hand... his touch warm and solid. Theo followed, his hand settling on top of Max's, completing our little pact.

“Clean as a clean be, No litigation or bankruptcies.” “Hmm, maybe they are actually good,” I mused, though my skepticism remained. I hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of our short acquaintance. “Can I see the full contract? The actual full print usually tells the story the brochure hides.” I asked this feeling very skeptical that she would actually agree. We are only two weeks into this friendship. People don't just hand over proprietary financial contracts to the person they meant two weeks ago, I expected a polite deflection, a "maybe later," or a sudden change of subject.
