“Or better?” Kai finally met his eyes. Ice-blue clashing with steel-gray. The bar was empty—Lila had left early, last call long gone, rain hammering the rooftop glass like it wanted in. Eclipse’s neon sign flickered behind Damien, casting red and blue across the sharp lines of his jaw.

Torque slipped onto the left barstool as Hatchett took the right. “Sam, this is Blue, Hatchett, and Torque,” I said, introducing each in turn. My eyebrow arched as Sam studied my face a moment before she grabbed a bottle and started pouring. “Well, aren’t you a sweet talker?” Sam pushed the full shot glass to Blue. “You know, flattery will get you everywhere with me.” “I’m sure it will,” Blue said, lifting his shot glass to her and pounding down the drink. “Why’s there no front door?” Hatchett asked as he grabbed his shot and nudged his head to the bar’s entrance.

The place was really big. I studied the door to one of the toilets. It had a short horizontal bar in the middle that read 'closed'. I moved to the next one and this time, the bar was blue and it read 'open'. I shrugged and entered that one. I stood the door from this side and saw there were two bars, one was red while the other was blue. It was for me to slide the right one through the bar space. I replaced the blue one with the one that read 'closed'.

Bethany smiled and waved him goodbye. Only Zayn didn't move. He stood there as if Jeff didn't exist. Jeff didn't care about Zayn's coldness. On the contrary, he waved goodbye to Zayn before he left. "Let's go." Barbara only looked away after Jeff was gone. Zayn nodded. On the way back home, Barbara looked at the car Zayn was driving, “Zayn, I haven't asked you why you came to find us yet." “Royal Restaurant has shares of the Blue Ridge Group. As one of the bosses, I can't just sit there after this happened to you”.

Her eyes spotted Jennie and Alice who weren't that far from her and Celine. Alice was wearing a blue and white jersey on her dress and holding a banner that says "KINGSLEY MY LOVE KICK THEIR A$$!!! "while Jennie on the other hand was wearing a black and white jersey on her pink dress with a banner that says "Mark SHOW THEM WHO IS BOSS , MY SUGARPLUM!!!! ". Barbie didn't know why but her mind immediately went to Kingsley and Leviathan.

Yet no human, dwarf, or elf has ever been reported to have a different color status screen from blue.

“Oh my God. Blue. It’s you. It’s really you.” She stiffened at first, then laughed nervously. “Whoa, okay. You’re choking me a little.” I pulled back, tears already falling. “Blue, it’s me. It’s June. I’ve been trying to call you for days. Something terrible happened. I need you. Please.” Blue stared at me, confusion all over her face. The guy with her looked uncomfortable. “Um… I did not expect to walk into a bar and get hugged by the famous Chloe McCoy. I guess congratulations on the marriage to Nikolai McCoy. I’m honored?”

“May we see the files you gathered?” He nodded. Then, he led us to the farthest part of the clubroom. We passed by two small partitions: one with a green banner, Blooming Bouquet, and one with a red banner, Magnus Mightymen. Finally, we entered the third partition that had a blue banner: Heaven’s Sky. “This is the space for Team HS. And this— is my spot.” Like everyone else’s, his computer set was blinking with RGB LED lights. However, there was something in his personal space that caught my attention.

I make my way to the bar and order another drink. " Haven't seen you here before. " The guy next to me says. He looks so much older than me , that it makes me want to barf . I ignore the desperate tries of that guy to make a conversation all the while sipping my drink carelessly. When I try to get up , he touches my forearm and pulls at it with all his force. Something flashes inside me and I peel his arm away so hardly that the crunch of his bone snapping can be heard.
