Words that… words that a madman said to try to flood our lands with evil. The original book was full of magic–ancient magic. Dark and endless. It stole parts of his soul every time he said words he didn’t understand. But I understand these words as I crack the pages–printed in neat ink on simple printer paper, not weathered, yellowing papyrus. Misty’s scribbles leave indents in pen under the printed symbols–a translation done to the best of her abilities. I have to trust her. She takes in deep breaths before bringing out the book from under her gown. 'The Ginnak's book of spells' was boldly written on the front page of the book. Her heart was beating fast, she felt she was doing wrong by taking the book without permission. But something about the book draws her attention. She opened the book, but it didn't open. Something wasn't right. She tried again but it didn't work. She turned the back of the book and discovered strange words. She looked deeper into the words but still, they remained strange to her.
