The Cabin Novels & Stories

“You better not let him hear you calling him that.” He casts a glance over his shoulder and an expression of horror crosses his face. And for a second I nearly believe that Dayne is behind us. “Don’t be silly. Anyway, who’s cabin is this?” I ask as we emerge through the forest and into a small clearing where a small, one-story log cabin stands. It’s very fairytale-esque and I can’t help being a little jealous of how cute it is. “Savannah’s.” “Oh, that’s nice.”

"We're forty minutes from the nearest human. I don't think burglars are a major concern." He unlocked the door and pushed it open, and I followed him inside. The cabin was one large room with a kitchen area on one end, a living space with a couch and armchairs in the middle, and what looked like a bedroom area on the other end. There was a loft overhead that I could access via a wooden ladder, and through an open door I could see a small bathroom. Everything was wood, wood walls, wood floors, wood furniture. There was a large stone fireplace that dominated one wall, and the windows looked out into the forest on all sides. It smelled like pine and old wood and

I do not take it off. The new safe house is a cabin at the end of a logging road, surrounded by pines so thick the sky disappears. It is smaller than the last one, older, the wood grey and weathered. A wood stove sits in the corner. The windows are small, high up, too narrow for a person to squeeze through.

POV: Lena Moretti The cabin had one bed. Not because anyone planned it that way. Because it was a cabin in the woods with one bedroom and one bathroom and a kitchen that was really just a counter with a hotplate. Naomi had secured whatever was available on short notice and available meant small and simple and equipped for one person, not two.

Together we walk through the trees, to the hidden cabin, leaving the rest of our stuff behind. Once we step into a clearing I finally get to see what Denjiel has been talking about. It definitly is bigger than a regular cabin. I slightly strain my neck as I look up at the size of the cabin. "Seven hells." I mutter, unaible to say anything else.

When they reached the cabin, Eon told his father’s live-in partner that they wanted to be alone. “What’s the matter?” Lina asked as soon as Eon closed the door of the small cabin. The cabin was under a massive tree, it has a king-size bed, a small table near a fireplace with two chairs, and a wardrobe along the left side of the wall. The cabin was like a standard hotel room. Just a bit charming. “Do you want to wash up first?” Lina could feel that Eon was delaying whatever he was going to tell her that she knitted her brows and heaved a deep sigh. “Fine, I’ll take a quick shower. Make me something

Amber fell asleep right after they finished their cookies; only taking a bite out of one. Reign took the time alone to wander the cabin and examine it more. The cabin is very huge and that also lingered on her brain, how he could afford this cabin. She knows he talks about his family business but what type of business are they in? The house was furnished only in; plush faux black leather couches, queen and king size white beds, white dressers, bedside tables, closets and everything were in white. They had a library. Why the hell did he need a library in a cabin? The floor was done with luxury vinyl planks. The inside of
