This was previously her room. Whatever looked around the medieval-style chamber, which was full of time glasses, clocks, and fancy clothes in the wardrobe. “What? Are we in a room with a time princess? ” Sebastian slid the dresses to one side and pondered inside the closet before something clicked in... The wall-mounted closet opened... "Oh, that's great. I suppose like mother, like son." K Whatever remarked. "Get in," Sebastian said, ignoring her, and started opening the window and wreaking mayhem all over the place.

The middle-aged woman looked around before she whispered. "I heard that the Princess was interested in the books that you had here." The bulky man knitted his brows. "The books that I had, was there anything that a child like the Princess might be interested in?" "I don't know." The middle-aged woman shook her head. The bulky man was perplexed. Why was a pampered princess like her taking an interest in the books that he had? The books in his store were something that would surely be bought by His Highness, Imperial Prince Vernon. But Princess Minerva? Didn't she just turn five recently? Surely, what she was studying for now was about etiquette and magic.

"If this leak out, you better leave the kingdom." Rau just lowered down his head in guilt and embarrassment. When Prince Zaeius arrived in his room, he realized the story teller's still not safe there. As he was pacing back and forth thinking what he should do, his attention stopped at the enormous closet of his. Without hesitation, he quickly put the story teller inside it thinking that his mother was looking for him. However, he refused to call himself harsh and rude for doing it. Because if he would be asked, the closet was a lot more comfortable to sleep with than his bed. It doesn't matter if it was pitch black inside once it's closed. His closet was that accommodating, it could fit two

I opened the lid. Inside were children's books. Maybe ten of them. Old ones, with soft, worn covers and bent corners. Not new and shiny like the one Kayla had in the garden. These had been read many, many times. And on top was a princess book. It was not a famous one. It did not have a famous princess on the cover. It was just a little girl with dark curly hair in a long blue dress, standing in a garden full of white roses, holding a lantern up to the stars. The title was in silver letters, half rubbed off. The Princess Who Was Not Afraid of the Dark.

-Past Time- Aurora POV The palace was abuzz with the Princess's daring fashion sense, a stark contrast to the modest attire of the kingdom's females. Her deep necklines, vibrant hues, and bold headpieces had already inspired some nobles to revamp their wardrobes. A little girl of around eight years is in her room, going through her closet. Today was a very special day and she was looking for the right outfit. "Princess..” "Shh, I'm trying to concentrate.” She said with a finger against her lips. The maid bowed her head, deciding to leave the girl alone. Arabella said, smoothing Raina’s messy hair. Raina nodded solemnly. She cleared her throat and began to tell a story about a princess who lived in a castle made of chocolate and had a pet dragon who was afraid of the dark. It made no sense at all, but Adrian and Arabella listened like it was the most important speech in the world. Raina’s story ended with the dragon discovering that the dark wasn’t actually scary if someone stayed beside you long enough. “And then the princess gave him three nightlights,” Raina declared proudly, her eyes already growing heavy with sleep. “One for under the bed, one for the bathroom, and one for emergencies.”

The Mistress of Shadows filled the doorway. Her black hair, sleek and straight, fell to her shoulders in a glossy wave. A long, delicate hand rested on the doorframe, slender fingers adorned with dark stones, glimmering with the life of subtle magic. Her skin was unnaturally pale as if she had not seen the sun in years. She cleared her throat. The girls scattered immediately, leaving Lyra alone in the woman’s shadow. Her dark cloak cascaded around her with an otherworldly fluidity. But it was her purple eyes so bright they glowed that chilled her spine. Lyra stood motionless, as the woman’s gaze raked over her with an unwelcoming scrutiny.

Whoever sent it had used the staff as their shield—or perhaps the writer was one of them. The corridors leading to the back halls smelled faintly of smoke and starch, the lingering traces of laundry, cooking, and scrubbed floors. She had walked these passages as a child, trailing after her nursemaids, but now she felt like an intruder. Servants were not used to seeing their princess wandering these halls alone at night. She caught sight of two young maids whispering near the laundry doors. When they saw her, they dropped into quick bows, faces paling. “Princess,” one stammered.
