The Coldest Winter Ever 2 Novels & Stories

A chorus of chilling winds whispered through the trees, teasing my chapped lips as if beckoning them to tremble. The enigmatic touch of winter's breath painted frost upon my very core, a shiver racing down my spine like a clandestine dancer. The frigid tendrils of cold had ensnared my muscles in their icy grasp, numbing every sensation from my cheeks to my fingertips. The world around me seemed hushed, draped in an ethereal shroud of silence that only winter's arrival could bestow.

Colin’s POV Colin was sitting in his office with Mateo. They were looking over the winter preparations. Usually, they get a lot of snow around January and February. They needed to ensure they had vehicles that could handle it and food supplies that could last through long winter storms. ‘Colin, can you come downstairs?’ Adina mind linked him.

On the day I was diagnosed with stage four cancer, Vivian Cross handed me a contract for a divorce reality show. I already knew that meant she'd lost another bet to her secretary, Miles Smith. They'd made ninety-nine bets over the years, and every time, Vivian let herself lose on purpose. She lost the house we decorated for our wedding. She lost the wedding itself. She even lost our son's body, handing him over so Miles could satisfy his twisted curiosity about the human body. Our baby had been seven months along when they donated his remains. He'd been so small. Vivian slid the contract across to me, tapping the papers. "Ethan, I lost another bet. It's just a reality show. Help me keep M

Winter always made her think of the lives that passed on, but also of new beginnings yet to come. The icy winds howled through the passes, seeking any gaps to invade the dens of the werewolves. Townsfolk gossiped by their hearths, recounting stories of winters past when blizzards raged for weeks on end, isolating entire villages under mountains of snow.

The first night of the apocalypse was the longest Clara had ever endured, and she had already lived through it once before. She sat in her command center, her eyes fixed on the bank of monitors that displayed the dying city in excruciating detail. The black hail had turned the streets into a frozen hellscape, its toxic particles coating everything in a slick, oily film that gleamed under the dim emergency lights. The temperature had dropped to -30°C, and it was still falling, the mercury plunging with each passing hour. The wind was howling outside, its mournful sound echoing through the bunker's concrete walls like the wail of a dying animal.

Water freezing to ice and back to water. Snow perpetually falling from the sky. Ice cracking in two. And then I understood. The water does not cease. The cold does not relent. The fur of snow. The temperature of the dead. It was a riddle. And the answer wasn't a person but a place. A place where water did not cease, where the cold did not relent, where wolves who had fur as white as snow had once been rumored to live and bodies as cold as though they were dead. North.

He hurriedly whispered, "Reporting to the Special Envoy. That place is called the land of Extreme Snow. It's quite strange." "Every six hours, Extreme Snow will descend for three whole days. The temperature is very low. Not to mention people, even the trees and insects are almost unable to live there. Therefore, gradually, no one will pass by. It is a deserted place." "A deserted place?" The Special Envoy turned his head slightly and looked in that direction, as if he was deep in thought. Pei Shiyuan and Pei Lan looked at each other. Suddenly, both of their eyes were filled with shock. Could it be...?

He eventually let his hand fall. "I've caught you." The wind swept away the tent. In that eternal winter, the tyrant's nightmare finally ended.

THE UGLY TRUTH Author’s Narration (Flashback of the murder of Zella’s parents) Winter held the whole city in a strong grip. The heating system groaned, but the wind still slipped through the curtains. Frost crawled over the tall windows, locking out the world and turning the Midnight estate into its own little ice palace.

Zara’s POV The first frost of the season dusts the forest floor, glittering like shattered diamonds under the pale morning sun. Winter has always been a time of quiet—of huddling close for warmth, of stories whispered by firelight. But this year, the cold feels different. It’s not just the chill in the air; it’s the weight of what we’ve survived, the ghosts of what we’ve lost.
