Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

This is incredible! Elijah begins to slow down as we approach the gentle sound of flowing water; the soft rumble growing louder as the distant patter contorts into a heavy crash of hammering waves while we push past the dense shrubbery barricading our way, my jaw dropping wide when the noises creator comes into view. I look up amazed as a strong flow of water crashes heavily from above; the streams current illuminated by the pale moons glow as it roars from the algae-covered cliff, pouring its contents below into a clear pool of water laid out before us while we stand at its edge. I look around amazed; astonished by the waterfall while Elijah leans down, drinking greedily from the clear clut

How often is the update on this book? It says on the title “Trilogy”, are there 3 separate books or 3-in-1? Coz some authors include Books 1&2 on 1 book altogether before declaring it as Completed. I just want to know if this 93 chapters now is still far from being Completed and I have to wait long

Rejected By The Alpha, Claimed By His Enemy

Rejected By The Alpha, Claimed By His Enemy

We found him at the old stone ring near the river—the place where councils used to gather when the land still spoke. He stood inside the circle. Not looming. Not radiant. Ordinary. Dark hair. Pale eyes. Hands clasped loosely behind his back. Waiting. “You’re trespassing,” I said. He smiled—not unkindly. “There’s no such thing anymore.” Ashael bristled. “You violated the Covenant.” “The Covenant died when she cut the conduit,” the Shepherd replied calmly. His gaze never left me. “I warned you this would happen.” I stepped into the ring.

Vows Written in Blood

Vows Written in Blood

The priest opened his book, then lifted his gaze. His voice was calm. Deep. Echoing throughout the room. “Mr. Adrian… do you take Miss Livia as your wife,” he said slowly, “to live together in the sacred bond of marriage—to love her, to protect her, to honor her, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, and to remain faithful to her until death do you part?” A brief silence followed. All eyes were on Adrian. Without hesitation. Without pause. “Yes, I do.”

Revenge of Flame Luna

Revenge of Flame Luna

I approached one shelf and found a journal labelled: Hydros: The Lost Line of Water Sorcerers. I pulled it out. The moment I opened the first page, the water symbol glowed faintly. Inside, it read: Some high-level water sorcerers can manipulate memory and time through mist. My chest turned to ice. Logic snapped instantly to Morpheus—and to the bizarre things I had experienced since my second chance at life. “Lulu.” Caspian’s voice sliced through the silence, freezing me. The book almost slipped from my fingers. I lifted my head slowly and there he was—Caspian—standing in the doorway. His whole body tense, jaw clenched, blue eyes burning into mine like a tidal wave ready to crash.

Contract Marriage with my Guardian

Contract Marriage with my Guardian

A network that exists in the shadows, under their feet, unseen and unbroken. I looked up from the page. Theron sat across from me, reading a report on old communication protocols. He noticed me stop and looked over. “What did you find?” he asked softly. I turned the journal around so he could see. “Read this.” He leaned forward, his eyes scanning the lines. As he read, his expression shifted. He sat back slowly, tapping the page with his finger. “He wrote this here. Right in this room. This was the beginning. This is where the Covenant was truly born. Not as a military force, but as an information network.”

GIVEN TO THE WRONG ALPHA

GIVEN TO THE WRONG ALPHA

Springs punch through rock, cold water cutting new rivers across land that hasn’t seen rain in a decade. Creek laughs. Falls to his knees in the dirt and laughs until he cries. “It’s giving,” he chokes out. “It’s actually giving.” Because we didn’t bleed for it. We chose for it. Jonah’s mother is staring. At the wheat. At the water. At Cove, who’s got Jonah on his hip and is pressing a piece of bread into his hands. Bread that didn’t exist five minutes ago. “Eat,” Cove says. Soft. Brother to brother. “You’re safe now.”

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Warm, sticky blood coated my palm, but I refused to look at it. It’s just water. It’s just water. It’s just water. Holding my hand out over the bowl, I turned it over and let the blood fall into the water. “Let’s hope that’s true.” I would never forget the first time I scried. It had been with the others … the rest of the coven. Looking into the bowl of dark liquid, seeing nothing but our reflections staring out at us, had been creepy as hell. Even worse was the voice that flowed from the water like smoke and shadow.

What can I say? Jane Doe has done it again! A beautiful compelling suspenseful romantasy with all the things I love! It’s not even completed but I can’t wait for more! Dark mysterious alluring witch/werewolves with sexy compelling characters that draw you in and make you drool!

I’ve read lots of supernatural books but this one is the best I’ve read! It’s got little bit of everything, it deserves way more recognition than it has gotten. Jane out did herself with these last two new books . Extremely talented writer. Give this book a shot you won’t regret it.

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

I whispered to them They crackled softly, and for the first time, I thought maybe… they didn’t know the answer either --- Later, while the others slept, I walked to the river The water was dark and unmoving. No moonlight reached its surface, though the sky was clear I knelt beside it and let my fingertips skim the edge Cold Still Then— A flicker Not of fire Of shadow It moved beneath the water’s surface like ink spilled in silence I yanked my hand back The shadow didn’t follow It simply watched And then it spoke—not aloud, but in the place between heartbeats You were never meant to carry only one flame

The Unspoken Accord

The Unspoken Accord

She clutched William’s arm, her grip tightening like a vice. “William” Her voice was strange, tight with a surprise that had nothing to do with the man they had just broken. He looked at her, and saw it. Not pain, but a sudden, shocking certainty. Her eyes were wide, not with fear of enemies, but with the awe of an immutable, biological truth. A small, clear puddle darkened the exquisite Persian rug at her feet. “My water just broke.” The war had ended at dawn. The future was deciding it would not wait a moment longer.

Whispers of Loyalty

Whispers of Loyalty

“But if you think too much, you’ll forget to breathe. Neither one looks good on you.” I gave a thin smile. “You sound like Zach.” Gia snorted. “If I start brooding in the corner with a glass of whiskey, shoot me.” I almost laughed — almost — but my gaze drifted to the stretch of courtyard being hosed down. The water ran red for a few seconds before fading to pale pink. “This doesn’t end,” I murmured. “No,” she agreed, softer now. “It doesn’t. But that’s what keeps us alive. Movement. Fighting. Choosing not to stop.”

Questions fréquentes

I picked up 'The Covenant of Water' after hearing whispers about it in book clubs, and wow, it’s one of those novels that lingers. The prose is lush, almost tactile—like you can feel the humidity of the Kerala backwaters. Reviews often praise its intergenerational storytelling, and I’d agree; the way Abraham Verghese weaves medical history into personal sagas is brilliant. Some readers find the pacing deliberate (translation: slow burn), but that’s part of its charm. It’s not a book you rush through; it’s one you steep in, like tea.

That said, it’s divisive. If you crave action-packed plots, this might frustrate you. But if you love character studies with historical heft—think 'Cutting for Stone' but with more monsoons—it’s a masterpiece. I cried twice, which never happens.
