We arrived at the bookstore a little after noon and the place was fairly empty. It was a sweet, little shop with all sorts of charming alcoves to snuggle in and read. I loved it. It seemed made for rainy Sundays like this one. Best of all, it had a small coffee shop in the back. Finn and I got hot chocolates and wandered around the stacks of books for an hour. We both picked out a few books and bought them. We shared the umbrella as we walked back out to the truck and got in.

Behind the desk, a long and wide bookshelf was installed into the wall, filled with books of various sizes and covers. Nolan picked up the remote for the heater on his desk and turned it on, raising the room's temperature and creating a comfortable warmth. Instead of immediately sitting down at his desk, he walked to another part of the room, revealing an adjoining lounge room that resembled a house. It featured a king-sized bed, a shower cubicle, and a closet.

She opened the door and we both walked inside the cozy space, there was a glass table in the middle with a couch on one side and two chairs on the other side. The place just had a huge bookshelf on one end with vines covering the corners of that shelf....which when I noticed closely were fake. The place looked cozy.

I muttered with a look of awe and admiration. It was like stepping into a fantasy library. The walls were soft-tone red with flecks of black and white. Shelves and shelves of books were neatly arranged in a circular manner. In the center was a little table with an unlit scented candle and two rows of beautiful bookmarks. Three chairs were alongside. There was also a coffee maker in the corner and a soft looking couch.

I couldn’t wait to give it a go but, it will take a couple more days instead of weeks thanks to Lileth and her magic potions. After dinner, I decided to take a look around my mother’s library. Taking a book from her collection, I grabbed a blanket and sat in the reading nook which was a large sofa or mattress built into a boxed area in front of the window. It had fairy lights hanging above and was also covered in pillows and cushions. The scent in the room was my mother’s and it reminded me of her. I felt so relaxed and at ease that after reading a few chapters, I felt it was time for bed. I folded up the blanket and placed the book on the table before heading to my room.
