The Vampire's Opal

The Vampire's Opal

Her book nook, favorite chunky knit blanket, and a good book were calling her name. Claire stepped into her room and just took a deep breath. The light gray walls with the white furniture helped open up the small space and the two floor-to-ceiling windows helped bring in the natural light from outside. She loved the clean and crisp feel of her room, it was relaxing. Her “book nook” was just a spot in front of the windows and a massive gray bean bag chair. She grabbed her latest book obsession, her white chunky knit blanket, and plopped into her spot.

Idiot. Lia scanned the area, taking in the bookstore. It was well designed and decorated, easy for readers to browse, yet still with the charm often found in small towns as opposed to the city. She loved the reading areas placed thoughtfully throughout the store. There were little chairs and miniature tables in one colorful corner with a significant stock of children's books. A huge stuffed bear sat in one corner, holding a poster of a new release. Café tables had been set up around the coffee bar, where people could sit with their laptops. The aroma of hot chocolate, really excellent coffee, and spicy cookies drifted on the air, making Lia's mouth water. She realized she hadn't even taken t

The Unwanted Wife

The Unwanted Wife

Near the corner, a floor-to-ceiling built-in shelf housed neat rows of hardbound storybooks and collectible models. A plush navy area rug sprawled across most of the floor, partially covered by scattered wooden train tracks and a few half-built marble runs. His bed was a massive four-poster, draped with an embroidered duvet featuring subtle superhero characters. A sleek desk sat against one wall with enough space for his art supplies to be laid out like a tiny architect’s studio. There was even a small modern reading nook by the window with velvet cushions and a smart lamp that adjusted the brightness automatically.

The Actor's Contract

The Actor's Contract

The spines form a rainbow of knowledge and chaos, hinting at countless afternoons spent lost in words and arguments over plot twists. The floor is a patchwork of thick Persian rugs, worn at the edges but impossibly soft underfoot, muffling footsteps and giving the space a cocooned intimacy. Plush leather armchairs sit in deliberate clusters with shaggy beanbags, scattered like lazy invitations to sink in and stay, in front of a massive stone fireplace, its mantle cluttered with curios only valuable to the ones who placed them there. A window nook is piled with fluffy pillows, a perfect trap for curling up with a book — or just staring out at the ocean, watching the sunlight scatter over the

He kept his promise. Hot tears spill over my eyelashes, tracking rapidly down my cheeks. My breathing becomes strained, short, and shallow as I am entirely overcome with a tsunami of emotion. I stand up, spinning slowly in a circle. The nursery has absolutely everything. A gorgeous, modern crib draped in soft white linens. A plush, oversized nursing chair. A cozy reading nook overflowing with classic children's books. A mountain of soft, premium stuffed animals waiting to be loved. It doesn't feel like a cold, calculated mafia stronghold. It feels warm. It feels so incredibly safe.

she said. Later that afternoon, Annabelle found herself walking beside Susan, a contented smile on her face. The bookstore was a cozy, welcoming place, filled with the scent of old paper and coffee. Annabelle felt like she was in heaven, and she lost herself in the aisles, her fingers tracing the spines of books she had only dreamed of owning. She found a small, old copy of Pride and Prejudice, her favorite book, and she hugged it close, a silent promise to herself to read it again, slowly, savoring every word.

Stalked By My Boyfriends Best Friend

Stalked By My Boyfriends Best Friend

My reading room. Shelves line every wall, packed with books—some familiar, others new, all neatly arranged. There’s a cozy armchair by the window, soft blankets draped over it. A small table sits nearby with a reading lamp, and in the center of the room is a plush rug that practically invites you to curl up on it with a book. I spin around, looking at Dante with wide eyes, completely speechless. “You kept talking about your books,” he says, grinning as he watches my reaction. “So I thought I’d make sure you have all the books you’ll ever need. Welcome to your reading space.”

Captivated by Mr. Billionaire

Captivated by Mr. Billionaire

There was the usual random hollering and barks here and there from outside, but it wasn't anything all that unusual for living so far north in Manhattan. I flipped on a light switch as I turned into a new room, illuminating what appeared to be a cozy little living room connected to a forest-green-themed kitchen. All sorts of books and knitted blankets were lying across the living room, whether on the coffee, sofas, or ground. Although it was a bit messy, there was some sort of a homey feeling that came with it.

Puck Love Reunited - Book 2 in the Minnesota Ice Series

It was a bargain. I’m setting up an area in the lounge space by one of the arched windows as my reading nook. Dad has bought me a large fluffy, pale pink bean bag for the corner and Atlas has given me vouchers for Button’s shops on the hight street where I have my eye on a beautiful mahogany, square table. There’s a matching bookcase I want to get for all my books. Only, I do have a lot of books so I may need to put a bookcase or some shelving up in the bedroom too.

Awakening - Rejected Mate

Awakening - Rejected Mate

Sat in minorly dazed moods as we all digest the truth of combined memories. It’s a small room with a bay window, a large couch and armchair nestled in front of a rustic fireplace cozily. A large handmade desk sits off to the side, just in the nook of the window space, facing in with a worn chair tucked behind. There’s an entire wall lined with dark stained bookcases, crammed full of old leather-bound journals of varying shades of tan, brown, and black, with no titles on display and I wonder what exactly is contained within the aged pages for them to bear no mark. There are oddities, and bottles, of all kinds nestled among them, and facing that wall are three large closed cupboards in matchin

it was a very good book. It does however get a little repetitive with the constant backtrack to their emotions. Pages of wallowing on emotions over the past inbetween vital events, which gets broken into small segments with a few paragraphs of dwelling emotions inbetween.
